| | | Vicvelcro | 10-07-2009 09:32 PM | Yah. From what I read... headshots are the no-no. Only reason I didn't include a chest shot myself is because I already did one in another thread.
Oompa did post a pic, but it only showed up as a link in the post, not as an image. Go back to #3 or #4, I think. Clicky the linky.
Correction: It *WAS* there, but it's gone now. |
| BooMer | 10-08-2009 09:32 AM | Hey Vic, I see your quite the handyman. That Home-Made Computer Desk you got in the background looks Old Skool. You wanna sell me the Blueprints on how that was built.
Oh BTW how do we know it's really you in the pic. I need proof because I know about 69 Penetration Specialists.
I think we need to write our names on a piece of paper like oompaloompa did to verify Authenticity.
I'll post mine later after I see more from other users. |

Perhaps I should bat my eyelashes and show a little leg? Does that work on rich old A-holes that run eBay? lol |
| JohnnyBoy | 10-08-2009 05:24 PM | So I can take a picture of my knee caps or my feet? |

| Vicvelcro | 10-08-2009 11:11 PM | Heh, yeah, I've been using that desk setup since college (back in the '80s). Changed a few surfaces (they do wear out), but it hasn't really changed much, otherwise. Basically, 9 milk crates (12 if you want more pocket space), 2 pieces of countertop 42"x24"x7/8", and whatever junk you use to keep your hands busy. Stack 3 crates high, make a total of 3 or 4 stacks. Place the boards across the crates. Get your rotary tool and cut openings in the front faces of the crates so you can put goodies in there. Don't try stacking crates on their sides to avoid cutting holes. Crates on their side will bow out and slide around. Cheap and convenient. Not pretty though, unless you like minimalist art that is functional. Quote:

Well, I guess you can't really know it is me. But if you compare to the other pic in some other thread, you can see It's the same dude. The other pic shows me and some legal docs and bank cards that do say Vic Velcro. If you like, I can reshoot a few pics that include something. But I doubt I could look as sloppy as I did in the earlier pic in this thread. It took a bit of effort trying to stick my gut out and get the flash deliberately wrong. It was supposed to be funny, see. Maybe I can work in some desk-pr0n...
The M4 logo is a registered trademark of one of my companies. Penetration Specialist is an actual job-title in the M4 organization. I'm the #1 PenSpec on the team. That particular piece of fabric was the original prototype that we used for our official shirts. We did a quick iron-on for the prototype. The actual production run was 8oz cotton T's and the shirts were stitched embroidery instead of cheapy iron-on transfers.
That maybe proof enough that the pic is me? Quote:

I like the creativity in creating inexpensive computer desk, Vic. :thumb:
Another option is using two file cabinets or drawer units for the base, but no more than 28"-29" high and add a wood top in any size suitable on top of it. You can purchase wood panels at Lowes for few bucks. They will even trim it for you to size you need for free. Than a can of primer and a can of color paint of your choice and voila!!! ...you have functional and unique desk for under 100 bucks.:cheer: |

I have an Edwardian chair and desk, but the chair has a split in it and Im about to fall at any minute..
Vic shouldnt it say Pen15 specialist.. |
| Vicvelcro | 10-09-2009 06:04 PM | Hmm... Well, that would be a matter of context, I guess. I really don't know much about penii except my own. Some of the other guys on the crew ... I'm not so sure about.
Penetration Specialist happens to be a double entendre. Technically, people like myself who can easily gain entry into just about anything or any place (those of us who study the techniques and technology on a professional level) are specialists in penetrating (physical and virtual obtructions).
As for the other type of Penetration Specialist, I'll leave that for you to bump around and work out for yourself <wink>. |
| GreenBean | 10-09-2009 06:07 PM | *coughs* :nono: Steady,Eddy,steady ;) |
Vic???? Do we have to? Work it out ourselves? Oh my God... I am in troublel. But GB has the answer to everything, as usual :"Steady, Eddy, Steady" |
| Vicvelcro | 10-10-2009 01:38 AM | Biting tongue. Clenching teeth. Straining neck muscles. Eyes popping out.

That's one of two things. Me working it out for myself and not sharing much.

Me trying desperately not to communicate in a manner that crosses the line of family-friendly.
