I have both and do I need both,what if I cancel my Norton as I cannot close my Window defender when my memory runs low?

it is not possible to disable window defender,and I am not sure it is a good idea to remove Norton?
There mist be something Norton is offering which is not being offered by Window defender,else everyone will just ditch Norton,as it is not free.
No, Windows Defender has anti-malware protection too. Don't think a paid service is better than a free one just because you have to part with money to use it. That's just a "perceived" value. I've seen people pay $999 (a grand) for a course that's 999 times worse than the 100% free counterpart that one can find on YouTube and still everyone ignores the better course because it's free and want the other one that is crap.
I am not saying that Windows Defender is better than Norton - but I don't think you *need* Norton for your computer to be well-protected.
