The Motorola Droid comes out next week with Best Buy Mobile already taking pre-orders. Anyone plan on getting one? I have been thinking about it, but since it runs Android and programs are compatible will all Android phones, I am kinda thinking about see what kind of Chinese versions get released. The SciPhone was pretty popular. I am not really a big fan of the price of the voice and data plan on Verizon, though. At least T-Mobile has the lame voice at 15 cents a minute and data for $30.

as for the Droids, i think i'll pass.. the last phone motorola had a hit with was the i930 for nextel and that phone was subpar .. expecting the same with the droid series...

I want an Android phone, but I can't justify the $80 monthly fee to own one on Verizon. I am thinking about getting an older phone and taking it to T-Mobile. The fact that it won't be Android 2.0 does kinda suck, though.
I seen the droids but it's not up to my standards yet. I do have T-Mobile and will never buy a G1 or myTouch, but I could be lieing. I'll wait for them to catch up RIM, iPhone OS, and Windows Mobile. Also I'm about to get a Blackberry Tour from Sprint with Sero plan $30/months 500 minutes unlimited msg & data! Getting tired of the iPhone *yawn*
