With all this crazy stuff going on in the world (wars, missile testing, mad cow disease etc) do you think our world is coming to and end soon?

Nope. But it feels economically a very large crunch is going to be happen. Been feeling that way for 2 years though so who knows really!

won't come to an end anytime soon - just gets stressful and annoying - have to find your niche in the sandbox

The world won't be ending but for some it might seem like it if they are financially weak as this year will be a tough one.

Dutch ,Japanese and US companies are closed to agreement of limiting chip sale to China/
The Ukraine war has dragged on and more countries are getting involved,this is not good for world economy.

Folks who lost their jobs last 2 years found jobs within 3 months,but now we are in 2023,new layoffs are finding it hard to find a good job.
Unless they want to work as waiters,dishwashers,roll burritos,be a WMT greeter,
Nurses and pharmacists are in demand though so are welders,electricians.

health care will always be in high demand - if ppl can stomach dealing with illness and gruelling hours and problematic patients, it's the way to go for some steady pay

the world will never come to an end but an epoch certainly will , things change and it is better to get used to this. the reason for the current escalation is that the US and their allies are losing ground after a nice 300 year run for the US and 500 year run for their european allies (nowdays rather servants) , someone else will be replacing them

The world will surely come to an end eventually, but I doubt mad cow disease will finish us off. :lol:

When we've had our turn, another species will move in, not our problem, our rotted carcasses will be their food.

It is in Judeo-Christian worldview only. The world coming to an end and so on.

The Chinese have no such concept whatsoever. The only permanent thing is change for them. So just adapt...

Late responding to this, but it's a Fact that it will eventually end. Our sun sustains life on this planet, and once it burns out you know what is next, but who knows what new beings will roam the planet afterwards, or humans may invent create new technology by expanding our knowledge of physics and travel to another planet we can live on.

Governments just want to keep people in a perpetual state of fear: global warming hoax, pandemics, wars etc.
Nothing in the grand scheme of things has changed since we were born. The planet will be fine, it's humankind that will gone long before. The birth rates in most countries are woeful, apart from Africa, Middle East etc.

Evertime I read the news about the new asteroid coming to earth or hear Greta's "we have only 90 days left" every year, I just smile...
