Who ate the turkey sandwich??

My neighbor just have a new roommate,a cute little dog,looks like a French bulldog?
2 days ago,it managed to come around and chow down on a few pieces of pastramii I left out for him.
Yesterday,I left a slice of Turkey and a piece of bread out,but his owner kept it inside the house so it cant get out ,
But this morning,both bread and turkey are gone,it cant be him as he is still inside the house,who else would have eaten it at night?
(Not me,I was sleeping!)
What kind of animal would be interested in bread?

I think when the owner lets him out to poop in late evening,he found the sandwich.
BY then both the meat and bread are rather dry!!

No raccoon,but squirrels,rabbits,cats and dogs.
I think my neighbor's dog ate it when he was out doing his thing that nite?
We have a receiving pond behind us,after rainfall,there are plenty of egrets feeding in shallow water.

cats do eat meat - but would leave the bread behind.

true though could be another dog although i have seen raccoons pull out sandwiches and stuff from garbage actively in the neighbourhood

We dont really have a forest around us,just receiving pond ,and lots of Oak trees.
I would think raccoons live in densely wooded area?
