yeah that's my favorite so far, i touched it up with fxphoto because it came out real dark. the fire fighters on their way out.


one odd thing i noticed at the hotel last night. they started renting out rooms to the fire fighters. they would come in groups of four to six of those big trucks, shower, sleep for a few hours then switch off with a new group.
strange thing i noticed is the younger guys would pass by in the hallway and not even make eye contact. where the older more seasoned looking guys always looked at you and said hi.
i guess they were just all really tired and still in a daze

I haven't been keeping up with the news, working too had on the FAQ section.. is it getting better there?

yeah we are pretty much back to normal now almost. up in orange county i think it's still burning.


i heard governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on the radio today saying he is going to hunt down and prosecute the arsonist.

Hey Spike, I just want to let you know that I am super happy that you are ok, and your home is ok too.

Ran across this old (Antique, Vintage) thread. I have always liked everything Spike has posted. Wish I had found the forum back in the old days.

Have any of the "Old Timers" ever heard from Spike again? Sounded like he had some medical issues is this thread.

Dunno, he just vanished one day. :(

He was a nice guy, I hope he's ok.
