hey giys!!! i was just wondering if i should create a new post here or not so i'm glad to see this one. the last week i have been getting the ok for another catscan and have been pretty f'ed up both physically and emotionally.

2 days ago i was evacuated from my home due to the san diego fires. i have no idea if the house is still there or not. i just saw on tv that it is about 3000 feet away. i used google maps to get the measurments.

all i had time to grab is my laptop, a box of credit cards, a 12 pack of beer (just bought it the night before and it was cold so....) i got my cat and dog, then i had to break into my neighbors house and get their pets. they work the late shift and did not know about the evac yet i guess. i am in a hotel about 50 miles from home. i had to pay for 3 rooms here because of all the animals and have not yet been able to get ahold of my neighbors.

i sent emails to all my customers letting them know i may not be able to ship their items and will refund their payments as soon as i know for sure.

other than that, what's up with the new FAQ section? i tried to check it out but it said i was not a subscriber. is it not up yet or do i have to subscribe?

don't worry about me, my family and pets are all safe.

worst case is that i have lost everything else. i rent so no worries about the property or anything. no renter's insurance though.

looks like they are doing good things at the stadium out here.

Wow spike... I have some friends in LA and they're doing okay the last I heard. I'm not sure if it's near them. I hope things are okay with your house... I guess I'd be okay with just a computer, an internet connection and some cash too! Dang...

As for the FAQ section, it's private right now for everyone. I don't want people posting in there and messing things up just yet.

I'll try to get things rolling with it in another week! I hope! I have 10 more pages of threads to go through, and I can start posting my findings. It's looking GOOD!

Ehh, don't do that! Lol

You have a laptop, unlimited free access to eBay's market place and know how. Where there is a will, there is a way. At least you hope so.

It's funny... and sad at the same time.

To-Do list get things done! I started one from a simple notepad at first then I moved things to a digital notepad. I created a business with a to-do list, created tons of money making websites, set my priorities, get daily things done, etc etc

I have mine setup based on importance and priorities.

Now
Later
Blog Topics
Maybe Work

for example

Sure, I remember a couple years ago I gave away my TV because I was wasting too much time with it. When you're comfortable with your current living situation you let things go. You start being lazy. You don't do things you know you should get done. That's the whole reason for a to-do list. It keeps you in check and tells you what you need to get done. Without mine, I would take too much time trying to figure out what I need to get done. I save a lot of time I guess what I'm saying.

I have a few blog posts on to-do list.

In here somewhere:

take care of that credit card dispute. i lost a bunch of money the same way. just too lazy and comfortable to handle it on time.

right now i am a little up in the air about things. if i get back home in the next couple of days i will start that list and get on it.

right now i am just going stir crazy in this freaking hotel. the tv REALLY sucks! lol!!! i am used to my 60 inch hdtv! think fema will pay for that? hah!

i gues i will get started on a list just to keep my mind off things:

if my house is ok, need to do...

if not, need to do.......

either way, it does not really matter. like you said, computer, internet access, and ebay is all i need to get rolling again.

Lol, yeah I didn't do anything about that dispute. It's paid for already damn!

But yeah, at least get something started with it. Start off with short term goals and then long term. I would use a digital notepad, computer notepad because if you're doing a lot of short term you can easily remove items form the list.

Maybe start one for creating a website? A huge task to create a website from scratch into a money making machine, but I did it in about 45 days.

If you have huge task like this you need to get done, break it down. Instead of creating new Website. Maybe say Buy Domain, Find Good Host, Find Shopping Cart. Just as an example.

If something doesn't move off your list.. break it down.
