China problem is not military ,it is trade.
China has one billion mouths to feed,it does not want to go to war with its biggest customer!
The fall of the Iranian regime would lead to oil deliveries to China going under US control providing significant leverage as Russia would not be able to satisfy the whole demand from China

plus the Middle East would be completely lost for Russia and China , they would have zero military presence there and any chinese economic projects like the silk road project going through the Middle East would need US approval

plus the US would become an energy hegemon able to dictate oil pricing , having US crude , Venezuelan crude and the entire crude from the Middle East under control. This in turn would allow to have significant influence on Russia damaging it's role as Chinese ally. With so much oil under US control they would influence the prices any way they like , Venezuela alone has more crude reserves than Russia so that Russia would be forced to find a compromise with the US or face a major economic crisis

for this very reason the war is not going to end anytime soon and the US will certainly not pull out of the Middle East , neither now nor later nor ever

Russia has plenty but not enough if the Middle East falls away plus Russia has very high exploration and processing expenses due to harsh climate unlike Middle East where quality of oil is higher and expenses are lower plus Russia is far away which leads to increased transport expenses and insurance

control of the Middle East along with Venezuela is essentially control of the entire market

some folks know how to repair TV set,but it better be one of famous brand and right size,if he lives nearby and come and pick it up.
Some will cannibalise the TV set and use the parts he needs.
There was a time they will send them to Central America

Back to the War,Trump said we have done enough, the war costs us $2 billlion/day plus loss of life.
So those who need the Strait to open would have to figure what to do-the South East Asian countries, the European countries,we do not need Middle Eastern oil,we have our own .plus foreign oil eg Nigerian and Venezuela ,there is the Gulf of Mexico and the Houston Channel.wide enough to have 2 tankers one up and one down.
