in terms of problems in your life, what are you currently dealing with?
mine are:
1) I cuss like a sailor in traffic and get easily frustrated with slow drivers
2) my prescription glasses with the blue light blocking anti reflective coating, have a film built up around the edges of the lenses where the lenses meet the frame and it won't come off no matter how many times I wipe them, and the paint on the frame is wearing off.
3) I take too many bathroom breaks at work and also a woman that I love has recently become cold and distant toward me when she used to be so warm and friendly (I wonder the status of our relationship) I overheard her say to another woman that "men aren't sh!t" and she likes to be in complete control of her relationships
what are you dealing with?

I am sitting here at my part time job waiting to be called for a load to the google data center while typing this.
I am currently dealing with boredom at my job. Its 2 days a week, 10hr shifts, overnight. Keeps me from killing people the other 5 days I'm off.

No job and no capital whatsoever to start anything. Thought of going into poultry but no capital. Don’t know what’s going on online I can start either.

My Vietnamese supplier who sells pets-parakeet,cockatiel,gold fish ,rabbits etc are doing well.
His parakeets sell well, another one just died, this is the 4th one which died,I am now going to Petsmart,I dont trust him anymore .
As for raising chicken,a woman once told me raise some chicks, they lay eggs every day, sell some and keep some for yourself.
I will buy fresh eggs anytime if I CAN find them.
(Retail arbitrage is very popular these days, avoid the low price mundane stuff ,too much competition and find the higher price ones.
What can you repair?
Mechanical pocket watches are much sought after,to service one costs $250 ,there are not too many folks who know how and parts are hard to find.

Word. Preach, brother.
I'm in the same boat as rsot. I've basically had my life flipped upside down over the last 2 years but complaining online isn't going to do me any good.
I always tell myself.. even when I was locked up in jail.. that no matter what I'm going through, it could always be much, much worse.

Yeah, that's true things can always get worse no matter how bad things are, Covid taught us that, and now wars going on all over the place.
Best to enjoy today instead of thinking too much about the future, as our futures can be taken away

I gained a lot of weight and became pretty spoiled by the situation. Pains me to say it but it was almost like an extended vacation from being an adult. Everyone in there gets a tablet with a pay per view movie library, lol. It's not quite as nice as European incarceration but it's really not that bad.

Zoning laws in the USA are extremely strict, most of the time.
If I tried to bring chickens to my neighborhood they would be gone by the next week, and we don't even have a HOA.

Prison can be better than life outside of prison, there are plenty of cases of people being happier in prison compared to life on the outside. In prison you have friends to hang around with, but outside your life can be like an open prison - no friends, spend most of the time at home etc. I'm speculating because I wouldn't know about such things, depends on which country, which prison, what you are in for etc

Solution to all your problems
1) Learn stoicism (emotional control). Learn what you can and can't control. Don't get upset with things you can't control, but make sure to take full control and responsibility for everything you can control. Sounds simple but it actually takes a lot of practice and self-awareness.
2) Get better glasses. Again sounds simple right. Most people don't realize cheap is expensive. Cheap things cost you time, aggravation, and money (need to be replaced or repaired more often). Don't be pennywise, pound foolish with something that important to your life.
3)
B)Forget about the woman. She should be dead to you. Any woman who says anything remotely like "men ain't ****," is more trouble than she is worth.
A) See a doctor about the excessive bathroom use. More than likely it is just your diet better safe than sorry. This is very likely an easy fix. You just have to want to fix it and take action
Too many people want to commiserate about problems rather than solve them. If that is you, than you deserve all the pain and suffering in your life. If that is not you, will-power, delayed gratification, discipline, & intentional and intelligent actions, will take you a long way.

A) purchase a laser pointer from Office Depot 30 minutes before closing time and then put batteries in it and aim it a police helicopter?
b) get drunk and throw a rock through your ex girlfriend's mothers kitchen window while her mom was drinking coffee (working on crossword puzzles and her dad was working on his pickup truck in the garage with the truck radio playing music?
c) steal pokemon cards from Target and got caught by security and have police show up at your house to arrest you with their bodycameras turned off?
or D) something else entirely?
either way I'm glad you're out
