I have a competitor who on amazon and ebay will buy items then file claims. They actually bragged to another business associate that they got us kicked off amazon.
What's the best way to deal with a competitor like this? I now notice on ebay they are doing the same thing...
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
This is a tough business, people don't want competition. Do the same, leave bad feedback, say counterfeit many times in feedback and complain direct to amazon on the phone.
Usually the competition is kind of stupid and will use the buyer account associated with their seller account. Tell Amazon and if this is the case and they will remove the feedback/a-to-z claim as this is something Amazon can detect very quickly. It's against their rules for sellers to do this and the seller risks losing his/her account if they go about it in a non-stealth way.

n8zzz, I would say 90% are stupid and have no idea. This is why accounts get deleted/suspended. Look how many accounts there are now with less 1000 feedback in most categories.. All gone....

On eBay you can make it so that payment is needed on winning - like with the <Buy it Now> option.
Difficult on Amazon to really block anyone from buying and claiming...sadly.

Make a different thread for the ebay angle.
Quite a different approach there.
With amazon, you need to report as often as you need to report.
If you are going stealth you need to be aware know that they may still stalk you.
