Default Wordpress on VPS

Hello

Is it easy to install Wordpress on VPS with Plesk?

Do you know of a company here in UK that provides VPS at low cost ( with Plesk installed preferably) and good tech support.

Thank you

Yes there is no difference really. VPS is just the platform you run your sites on, you create a database pretty much the same, upload some files and configure your site.

Pretty easy.

Search VPS UK.. there are plenty of options out there.

If this is going to be your first site or a small site, you should check into Hostgator shared hosting though. They host their servers at The Planet, the most stable dedicated server environment. And they are priced competitively. I use them for about 70% of my smaller sites.

I've heard about Hostgator manly the good stuff, but they're US based and they seem to not have a single server in UK and for the GOogle UK, for my website to be no 1 on Google , I need it to be hosted in UK.

However I'm happy to hear it is not difficult to install WP on VPS. I found Tagadab in UK at a reasonable price, but Plesk come at £5 a month at Tagadab which is not a major problem, but they seem to be a bit sloppish when it comes to helping to make the installation easier.
