It only takes 1-2 days for the tracking to show usually. Once it does show it only will take 1-2 days for it to show up. Once it hits the US you will get it the same or next day depending on where you live. As for taxes I have never had any charged and I get large multi box shipments every week thru DHL. It is the only way to go!

Great thanks! Will it come USPS once it hits the US being DHL is no longer in business here?
Dhl is still a business it just does not do in country shipments for example from cali to new york but it does do international shipments
Well obviously international is still open or I wouldn't have ordered DHL, I am aware they still operate internationally however, as I stated here in the US they do not, so who handles there deliveries.
Ah ok so when I see the DHL truck delivering my packages it's not really the US delivery guy, but rather the international delivery guy, I'm gonna see what language he speaks next time, he usually looks half asleep when I see him.

Are you joking are do you really think DHL is delivering your packages?

DHL’s delivery services will no longer be operating within the domestic U.S., as the German-owned company announced Monday that the company would be cutting another 9500 jobs in the U.S., shutting down all hubs and reducing total stations in the U.S. by 75%. DHL will continue to ship products from the U.S. to international locations, and is in separate, ongoing talks with UPS (UPS) to utilize its fleet to transport products between U.S. airports and customers.
Yeah, sort of joking as always but I used to work as a courrier and see DHL delivery guys all the time so its a little strange.
Only to accept and transport packages going from the US to overseas, they don't handle domestic packages anymore.
After further reasearch, it seems UPS and DHL couldn't reach an agreement, so USPS does handle the delivery of DHL packages in the US.

30 January 2009 DHL ends domestic pick up and delivery service in the United States, effectively leaving UPS and FedEx as the two major express parcel delivery companies in the United States[14] Limited domestic service is still available from DHL, provided that the packages are tendered to USPS for local delivery. NewEgg is one such company that uses this option as of August 10, 2009.

April 2009: UPS announced that DHL and UPS have ended negotiations for an agreement for UPS to provide airlift for DHL packages between airports in North America. DHL said in a statement, "We have not been able to come to a conclusive agreement that is acceptable to both parties." DHL will continue to use its current air cargo providers, ASTAR Air Cargo and ABX Air for now
My packages come in a DHL truck. The truck is DHL yellow and he is wearing a DHL uniform. So I am gonna say it is DHL. Now I live in a major city so if you live out in the sticks maybe they sub contract it out to somebody else

I am in a major midewest city, I am guessing you guys must be in one of the port or coast cities where they must still operate, (the 25% that didn't close)
I am in a major city as well so I guess thats why I keep on seeing DHL trucks everywhere. I saw one driver cussing his brains out with the door to his truck shut, maybe he found out he wasn't gonna be working too much longer.
