The 3 year service, which is just basic really plus all pads and discs cost equiv of $1120 !!
My neighbours son did a few things with our cars, but he moved away, err I cant see me servicing my own cars, can you?? It would be handy to know practical skills like that...
problem is now cars are computerised, alot of services need to be done by specialists with correct equipment | Shooot! Thats expensive! I would never pay $1120 to change rotots and brakes...but it all depends on what car it is. Obviously if it's a Lamborghini, parts with be expensive. I just got all my 04 Honda Odyssey brakes and rotors replaced for under $600. Also, the timing belt was replaced last year for $600. If you bargain around at the honda dealers you can get a good price. Keep in mind we did this in the USA, as Canada is waaay too expensive..
I bought rotors and brakes on ebay! Yes, ebay! A genuine honda dealer from California was selling them. I probably saved 30%-40% buying rotors and brake pads from there.
