Los Angeles, CA minus all the smog and traffic. San Diego is a bit more south of there which has nearly perfect weather, living conditions, barely any traffic, very clean, however on the downside is it can get a little boring. Don't forget the LA Lakers and the SD Chargers for sports entertainment. Plus you get nice beaches with both of those choices, amusement parks, diversity, great food, education, clubbing and partying.

You can also do just about anything you can think of and it is of driving distance. If you want to go snowboarding you can go up to Big Bear, camping at the beach you can go to Carlsbad, camping in the forest you've got Kings Canyon national forest which has the biggest most beautiful trees in the world. I can go on and on.

In my opinion though everyone has their own "best place to live". No place is better than another it's just your taste.

British Columbia or Alberta..one of the most scenic places in the world..

I love skiing, and there hills are just amazing. But property is very expensive in Alberta and British Columbia, I am sure property prices are way more expensive in the UK.

Well..I never really liked UK. Small houses..small cars..over expensive stuff..I'll stop with my ranting

I love New Hampshire, maybe it's because I love scenery more than beaches..

Sidney, Australia. Visited while on WestPak in the Navy. Much more fast paced than others Australian cities like Perth. Houses on/near water. Great many varieties of things to do and more of the most picturesque places I've been too.

Being of the minority and in my case very tall of a certain race has immense appeal to Australian women. The ole sea salts of the Navy always said women were like magnets to other races not there own and came to be so. All I'd have to do is walk down the street and I felt like a superstar. LOTS of attention came my way. Will move and retire in Sydney. Absolutely loved it.

I agree as I did like Singapore as well even if it was, alas two days only. Really clean and friendly people. I spent most of my first night asking where the errr...topless of sorts club were until I finally got an answer form a bartender. They didn't have any.

My second night I got into a very long line at some dancing club when I noticed the people ushering waved at me beckoning to come inside. It really good as I cut in front of everyone and went directly inside not having to stay in line and pay. Drunk a lot of mixed drinks (some for free). It got a little weird as I had three three women (waitresses?) by my side the whole time. They entered me into some drawing trying to pair me up with other females. Not sure what was going on after a while and left which I placed blame on cultural differences perhaps? Regretted not seeing more of the sites during daytime as I preferred the night life.

I'd say the British Virgin Islands. It has the weather, the beaches, the greenery and it's a tax haven!
