| riversnew | 05-12-2010 08:40 PM | Buying Windows 7 software I purchased 4 copies of Windows 7 Ultimate last week. I bought 3 copies at Amazon.com and 1 on ebay. Of the 4 copies bought, I was scammed 3 times.
One seller on Amazon instead of sending me Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade GLC-00184, sent me a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Chinese GLC-00181, which is a full version and not even an upgrade; the other seller on Amazon.com sold me a disk when I was supposed to receive full fledged retail version of Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade that comes in a box.
The seller on ebay failed to mention that the COA sticker on his box was for Web Expression 3.0 and not Windows 7 Ultimate. The sticker was also taped, which meant that the plastic box containing the software could only be partially opened, otherwise the sticker would tear.
I can only suggest not to buy software on ebay or Amazon.com Marketplace. |
