Buying Windows 7 software

I purchased 4 copies of Windows 7 Ultimate last week. I bought 3 copies at Amazon.com and 1 on ebay. Of the 4 copies bought, I was scammed 3 times.

One seller on Amazon instead of sending me Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade GLC-00184, sent me a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Chinese GLC-00181, which is a full version and not even an upgrade; the other seller on Amazon.com sold me a disk when I was supposed to receive full fledged retail version of Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade that comes in a box.

The seller on ebay failed to mention that the COA sticker on his box was for Web Expression 3.0 and not Windows 7 Ultimate. The sticker was also taped, which meant that the plastic box containing the software could only be partially opened, otherwise the sticker would tear.

I can only suggest not to buy software on ebay or Amazon.com Marketplace.

Does the windows 7 ultimate full retail version from China actually work? I know they are counterfeit, but has anyone tried the keys on their computers? I want to upgrade my laptop, but I am not sure.

The counterfeits work just fine. For about 30 days.

These guys are able to generate genuine software keys, but when Microsoft detects them, they ban the whole range of keys.

So, one day your desktop goes black and a message comes up telling you that you may be a victim of software counterfeiting, and that Windows is NOT GENUINE. It will then nag you to death to get a genuine license from Microsoft.

It doesn't erase your stuff, nor does it stop working, but it is EXTREMELY annoying.

If your interested in purchasing a windows 7 ultimate key then pm me. The windows ultimate sold in china use msdn and technet key but the only problem is that the Chinese constantly re use the keys. The keys will eventually get black listed if you reuse them on two or more computers.............

On amazon? I thought that sellers could not sell software since it was restricted category. Only ones that were able to sell were companies such as COMP usa and various other stores.

There are ways around it.....

Just like ebay..paypal...amazon..and all other websites..

How? I have been trying to get on amazon for like 2 months now...dang, if I only knew earlier!
