Default sleep problems

anyone have problems with sleep, the more I try the worse it is for me, tried the tapes, I use herbal if possible sleep aids, eg valerian, melatonin, 5htp..but a glass of wine or two and some anti-histamine is sometimes required...

The process of sleeping no, but the correct time to go to sleep (night-time) and time to wake up (mornings), yes. But I attribute that to being self-employed and having a preference to working at night rather then the day. I just find nights more peaceful.. but that could just be an excuse.

I'm working on it.. I'm pretty sure I have a version of non-24.

I have a terrible sleep pattern if I try to sleep 8 hours on a regular basis.
But if I take cat naps of say 4 hours & power naps I manage.
On the rare times I'm not working I might try to go to sleep and be awake 3 hours later. Tried everything but like work nothing really works. Fins it easier to get up, stir the brain cells, then grab a few zzzz's

What was your sleep pattern like b4 min-me's birth? Did much change at all?

mini is sleeping 7 til 7 now, has done pretty much from 4 months old - that was never a problem for me......if you dont expect that to happen, dont have them!

my sleep went wrong due to work stress, but recovered when I stopped work (work as in a job) then sleep was great

new issue is pain and sleep now, I know the reason, but cant say here...still coping with OTC meds right now.

I like to do things the natural way which work pretty good for me, go all day without eating except for 1 or 2 light snacks with sugar in it, get plenty of excercise, late night eat whatever you want, drink whatever want, party and let nature take it's toll.

Also listenining to your favorite music with a good buzz can have some pretty good theraputic effects as well. Being a DJ I listen to alot of trance/house type music which with the right buzz can take your mind on a pretty nice journey and free your soul every night of the week, what more do you need.
