 Sony Vaio Computer questions
I might be getting a "donated" Vaio FE 660G Laptop that a friend replaced because the thing would not load Windows (XP)...it would get to the screen that said Windows XP and then start the whole boot process all over again and then just keep cycling over and over.
He seemed to think there was a recovery partiton on the HD to do a restore/repair of Windows...does anyone know how to access it? I'm assuming you have to hit an "F" key while the computer is booting and then pick from the options.
Secondly, anyone know where the hard drive is in the thing? I was going to pull it out and put it in an external case so he can pull his data off of it. On a limited very quick glance I didn't see anything obvious like in Dells and HPs that I've replaced HDs in.
