Yep, but watch the monthly fee from SBC, I hear it's going up $10 more a month. I'm still going to get one though. :p

I'm gonna first try and tell apple that my current iPhone is having problems and then try and replace it with the new 3g if they don't go for that then I will have to buy it. I already pay enough for the iPhone it kinda sucks having the bill go up $10 more just for 3g.

I found the iPhone easy to use, and it's scroll and touch panel were perfect for me.

The iPhone coming out on July 11 is not gonna be that good because the iPhone coming out in 2009 is gonna be nice its gonna have alot of new software and the body is gonna be nice.

Nope it doesn't have that proble but it has one problem that happens to me everyday. If your a heavy safari user like me then the browser will crash about 3-4 times.

When your in your phone book and your going down thelist of contacts and place your finger over the name it will not automatically call the number. You have to first click the contact name and then all the contact info will how up including the number. The phone is not overly sensitive.

The iPhone browser is pretty fast. When I use it to post on the forum as I am doing now it let's you load a page in less than 4-5 seconds.

Its going to be hard getting one because they're going to get sold out like the first time the iPhone came out. Try getting it a couple days or weeks after. If not you will have to wait for long hours in the line. Its probably gonna go for more than $100-200 its value on ebay. I'm gonna get atleast 5-10 and then sell them on ebay. Last time I saw on ebay they went for $1,000 when the original price was $599.

Did anyone get the iphone 3g? I am updating 2.0 firmware on my iphone as we speak! Im going to get the new iphone if I like the 2.0 update I think I will like it.

Well now I come back to say that the iPhone 2.0 is freakin sweet!
Any who I think I'm gonna stick it out with my old iPhone and buy the new iPhone in 2009 as that's the time the new and better stuff comes out ie face to face conversations.

The n95 is sweet. The new blackberrys are really nice phones as I nver used the blackberry before. If your a Nokia n series fan than I suggest you getting the Nokia n96 about $800-$900 but worth it.

The ones that are selling on eBay are the 1:1 mirror copy. They boast the look on the outside but lack the software inside. They have absolutely no software as the original n96 henceforth the cheaper price. By the way what BB do you have?

Yah Modee I do agree the face to face conversation will be bad for some but not all. If you type in 2009 iPhone you will see apple has implanted a face to face video camera.
This what will happen to you if you buy the iPhone: you will get addicted to it and buy the new one every year at any amount of money. Atleast that's what happended to me!

Well Modee Im thinking of a plan to get the iPhone for free. Well I thought I could go to apple and tell them my iPhone is messed up because it crashes
2-3 times a day(it does for real) and that it reboots since the 2.0 update(which is also true). I will then get a new iPhone because I still have warranty. What do you think?

The iphone 3g is pretty nice, the only think I don't like about it is when using 3G, it drains the battery fast... I can go through the whole batter in less then 2-3 hours.

3G will only work if you are within the carriers 3G coverage area. 3G coverage is limited in the US. So, if you live outside the 3G coverage, your internet will be at the slower speeds.

Personally, I am on the T-mobile data plan. It runs only $5.99 per month. You have to do a little configuring, but it is worth it...

The iPhone 3G is pretty fast browsing wise, and even faster when you connect via wifi.

It's pretty good Modee, you should test one out, you might like it.

I think I'm paying around $75ish/mo. I got the cheapest plan and the 200 text messages per month. It has 5000 weekends and night mins, unlimited email and web, unlimited mobile to mobile and 450 anytime minutes. It's not too bad.

That's like me sometimes, I get people calling me all the time, but I usually don't call them. :p

The Iphone will be fast in San Diego

So I finally got sucked in and bought the new iphone 3g. Its pretty fast but pretty much the same thing as the first gen iphone. I know I'll be getting a new phone pretty fast after I get sick of this one. I'm leaning towards the new blackberry bold.
