I just started with a super cheap phone service, Cricket. Unlimted everything basically at $40 a month, the only bad thing is some of their phones are crap.
It's in cali, but limited coverage. Cricket | Cell Phone Provider & Wireless Carrier | Official Site |

$44 monthly data pkg, have never recd any additional charges.
--Has phone, camera, Video recorder, plays songs, text, probably more I never use.
__I like the appts it stores, and the contacts,
-- I also just slip an sd card from my camera in it to back up, using sprite..
-- Very fast on line, pics crisp.. use i think EVO its called? anyhow, its broadband,
--you can change the ip- by simply clearing cache/cookies, pull the battery out for 60 secs, and restart--new ip..

I love my Iphone. A million and one uses and still counting. Best phone I have ever had for those time when you find your stuck someplace for a long time like the hospital, oil change, post office lines, etc. love the widescreen movies and you can get movies still at the theater for free. I have the 8 gig and am suprised how much music and movies it holds in mp3(Music)/mp4(Movies) format, I keep arround 12 movies and 2k in songs on it at all times. It has a 2mp camera plenty good enough for ebay pics. The internet is great. keep the 1.1 os and install jail brake. And it works great for wardriving I used to use one of those keychain locators like those at wal mart for 20 bucks but they dont tell you if it is a secure network or not and saves a lot of time decripting the wep. keep in mind it isnt against the law to guess someones password only to steal it

Yeah, I heard this from another person on here. He loved this phone, loved it.
But don't you just hate having to upgrade phones every year? Just learn to use
a cell phone and woof! Gotta update.

My plan is arround $60 for 250 Min, 1000 Txt, Unlimited internet. That works best for me being I dont text much or ever use the 250 Minutes. I think that is the lowest plan they have, 2-yr contract. it does a great job syncing each time you dock it updates your bookmarks in addition to appointments, phone numbers, email, etc. One time I had thought I had lost a years worth of bookmarks (Backup....what) on system restore when the phone synced the next time it put them all back on my desktop.

text,video,on line music downloads, insurance.
--Great Phone/Clear- and 1x/month u do a *228 and it updates your roaming capability.. We are on East Coast- have been to my sisters on west coast-still clear and all while on vacation in Disney-very clear. The antenna is built in.
--Runs windows MObile 5--Clear big screen--fast loads..
--i like it better than the Audiovox 6600ppc i had last year, as u couldnt work that with 1 hand while driving..

Activity: 0% Longevity: 95% | | Smart Phone Debate
I am going to be buying a smart phone in the very near future. I am going with cingular AT&T and am trying to decide between the Blackjack II or the Motorola Q Global.
What i want out of a smart phone is a fast and easy to use internet, Good email service, something good for instant messenging, Being able to view Office documents and prefer to be able to edit the documents. (Only being able to view is a priority).
Any other info on these phones would be great, but i would like to know which one you guys prefer

I don't know for office documents but for browsing the web and managing your emails the Blackberry's the king! I've been using a windows mobile smartphone from Motorola (t-mobile) in the past and it's nothing compared with the blackberry... BlackBerry |

Activity: 0% Longevity: 92% | | What cell phones do you have? Which cell phone do you like?
Im currently using a 8gb iphone. To tell you the truth I was kinda stupid getting this phone in august '08. I spent over $1000 for this phone now you gonna be saying how in the world did he do that and gosh is he stupid. Well this is how it happend:
I saw ads of the iphone in june and in july and I was hooked. I wanted to get it soo badly and I mean really really badly. So when I started ebay in july I made enough money to pay alot of bills and then in august I went ahead and bought the iphone. I paid $645 for the iphone and then I paid $200 for termination of contract from tmobile and then I paid for the activation fee of $36 and then I paid the first months bill $70. Funny thing is 2 weeks later the price dropped to $399
So now Im gonna be waiting until the iphone comes out in 2009 as its gonna have more apps and way better design.
I basically do everything from my iphone I love it
To tell you the truth once you use a phone for about six months you get sick of it. Thats what happens to me :D
So how about you guys/gals what cell phone do you use? What phones do you like?

I have a Nokia right now. Don't ask me what model, no idea. My wife's sister buys a new cell phone every 2 weeks. I'm not joking. So I always beg her to give me her latest 2 weeks old cell phone. I'm guessing she spends about $2,000 a month on cell phones.
