Walgreens daily limit on card

So the machine says on the phone i can't load the 500 dollars because it exceeds walgreens daily limit load. Is this common? Anybody tried this before?

I bought a moneypak loaded 500 dollars, but coudn't buy more at the same walgreens because they have some weird policy of only buying the max 1 per day so I wen't to 2 more walgreens to buy it.

They have limits in place to help deter people from using cards for money laundering. You should buy different types of cards to get away from that problem.

Its a walgreens thing only. CVS and other retailers don't do this.

walgreens suck they have the limit and 1 hour delay where walmart has a $1100 limit and no wait.....

I know the Kroger personal fiance card the limit is $1000 per day.

I loaded all the money just had to do 500 per 24 hours and i called in the moneypak to do it because the website didn't take it for some reason.

what the hell are you loading all of that money on cards for anyways??? i hope your not paying fees like this.

I actually work at a Walgreen's and in our training they specifically state that we can't sell an amount over $500 total to one individual on those cards per 24 hours. As stated above, this is to prevent money laundering.
