I'm sure they check for that. But honestly you have to either be an idiot or you just want to know too much at once to get caught. I would personally take my sweet old time and plan everything. |
| FandangoKango | 02-04-2012 09:55 PM | Too bad im not moving to cali just for an ebay job. Whats the minimum rate over there? |

Why suspend our real accounts in the first place........Do they have deals with banks, credit cards, phone verification systems or something.... do they get like a % of the money or something??? |
| jbluntz | 02-05-2012 01:39 AM | You would think there would have been some ex or current ebay/paypal empoyee's as active member's on this site by now, there's gotta be somebody here that works for them. |
| Gman91189 | 02-05-2012 02:32 AM | Thats what i would be thinking, i always thought, im working OFF of ebay, would probably be cool to go to the "dark Side" and work for ebay, you know, see what it would be like, " lol, you're a stealth user, dont give me that sob story"
i wonder how much they pay...
plus what position do they really have?
Stupid Customer Service Rep 1
Idiot Customer Service Rep 2
Jacka$$ Customer Service Rep 3 |

But, their post count was lest than 10 and then they disappear. |
well, if the point is having someone on the inside to tell us their secrets, we already know that ourselves by having our accounts. Both failed and successful accounts gives us the insights ;)
It would be pain in the *** for me listening to stories same as mine over the phone knowing I won't be able to assist. I'd rather be making accounts and kicking their *** :fight: |

@jbluntz, thanks mate glad that someone shares my views |
| Thankful | 02-05-2012 07:30 AM | Now would be a great time for an inside man, shame I live in UK :( |
i wish this was in the uk |
Pay is crapperific - plus you would have to deal with idiot supervisors and annoying clients for sure. |

The more accounts you ban/limit, the better you look in the eyes of your boss
If you don't suspend anyone, you would most likely lose your job
Anyway, I'm curious to know if their HR team runs checks on our eB@y history when/if we apply for jobs :typing: |
Go for it Sandy_D - if you can do it =) |
| stephanie1172 | 02-10-2012 01:42 PM | Cali hummmm. Thats odd because every person i ever talked to was not american. I would literally almost give myself a heart attack talking to eb because they dont completely understand what you say and its ridiculous trying to understand wht they say. Plan on beimg on the phone with them for a hour !!! And take a valium afterwards.
And yes eb needs some competent employees that actually give a crap and can maybe make a difference. I hold my breathe on that one!!! |
| stephanie1172 | 02-10-2012 02:03 PM | Banning eb accts Quote:

So why not let people sell as long as its in the guidelines. Why reward employees for more the suspend. It doesnt make sense???? :smash: |
| Pringles | 02-10-2012 08:27 PM | Most people think of it this way but the reason is that if they did not take these measures, the site would become overrun with foo-foo's and they would be constantly bombarded with legal threats from copyright holders as well as developing a pretty bad reputation regarding foo-foo products. |
| bballaw1 | 02-11-2012 01:33 PM | I just found out we have an ebay/paypal call center 10 mins from where I live... I seriously may apply. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:35 PM. | |
