OK... I'll stop with the fat jokes. But my cars are nothing special. Right now, I have a 2012 Chrysler 300 I just bought. Before that, I drove a Chevy Lumina for many years and before that a Ford Taurus.
I prefer larger cars and newer cars, but they don't have to be FANCY cars. Larger, because it is more comfortable and newer because I want to know that I can get to where I need to go and won't end up stranded. I kept the Lumina for about 7 years because it didn't give me any problems for a long time.
But I'm 45 years old and not dating or trying to impress anyone. When I was younger it was a different story. Over time, though, I have learned that a lot of the people who buy the fancy brands put nearly all of their cash into their cars and have no money left over to live life. I prefer to have more available cash. I like to eat out, I like to be able to buy the things I want and I like having a little cash in the bank.
And, honestly, I LIKE my boring car. If I won the lottery, I probably wouldn't buy a new fancy car. I'd upgrade my life in other ways, of course, but not that way.
