| myfriday09 | 06-16-2012 04:49 PM | Teeth Whitening I just bought the Crest Whitestrips off of Amazon.
Has anyone gotten these or a similar product?
Do they work? |
| moneyhustler88 | 06-16-2012 04:50 PM | lol i thought only women did teeth whitening? aha :pound: |
| unkown5454 | 06-16-2012 04:51 PM | Wanting to have clean teeth is funny? Wow, something is wrong with you. |
| Red X | 06-16-2012 04:52 PM | They may work a little, your best bet would be going to an actual Dentist to have it done. |

| Elijah | 06-16-2012 08:33 PM | I hope I'm never at that stage... dentures, that is. My father and mother all still have all of their teeth and I want to be the same way. But teeth whitening is a waste. My mother did it and all that she got out of it, was an electric shock in the teeth. They were no whiter afterwords but then her teeth were already pretty "white" before then. |

Heard so many good things about the white strips that I had to invest in them. |

Some people dont have the Hollywood phony white teeth & no amount of money could bleach their teeth white. Try not to get hooked into dumping hundreds of dollars on something that will not work.
Be prepared for pain :tears:
I get wanting to have a good smile. But I do suggest a little research too.
Good Luck :peace: |
| jeffweico | 06-16-2012 11:15 PM | Actually, when I quit smoking I went to a dentist to have my teet cleaned and whitened. Like GreenBean says, not everyone has perfectly white teeth. The treatment certainly made my teeth look much better, but not perfect.
Keep in mind what you see in magazines and in movies often is not real. The actors could be wearing something, or the pictures can be enhanced later. |
| moneyhustler88 | 06-16-2012 11:22 PM | dentist appointments = good teeth..perhaps not white teeth..but sure a dentist can advice you.. |

Good Luck :peace: | Back in May I went to my dentist. He informed me of a procedure costing $500. I've done tons of research by the way, and all I've heard is good things. I'm not trying to get "Hollywood" teeth, I'm just trying to make mine look better. I payed only 40 bucks; not really dishing out a lot of money for this. |
| Javelin | 06-17-2012 03:12 AM | I used those strips a couple years ago.
They tasted weird being in your mouth all day and after just a few days or so,
I did notice a difference in my teeth complexion. Just a little bit more whiter,
not by much, but still there was a difference upon using them even for just a few days
(mind you I brush at least 2 times a day, floss and use mouthwash).
But I stopped because they were kind of weird feeling and it just yeah.....
I don't know how my teeth would look if I had used them for months or even a year.
So, in short. They do work and a bit effective in the short term.
But as far as long term goes, I do not know. Maybe you can go experiment
and try it yourself. Like you said, it doesn't cost much and yeah I very much
agree with you, saves you tons from going to the Dentist for that stuff.
Peace. |
| JJGold | 06-17-2012 06:37 AM | 1. Go to your Dentist and have him make a mold to have the trays made. Most Dentist's will code the procedure as corrective trays and therefore be covered under your dental insurance.
2. Go online and purchase the bleaching solution.
3. Bleach them every day for a week, then once a month.
4. The result: A healthy looking, confidence exuding, white smile. ;) |

Do they work? | I've used them before. They are great. The second box is where you get compliments. |
| they_screwed_me_too | 06-17-2012 07:44 AM | my father in law is a dentist
he custom made the bleaching trays and supplied the correct chemicals to me
should have been £400 gbp
you can buy the trays on ebay and the solution too for about £15
exactly the same as the dentists use |

On Amazon, I bought the 30 pack (instead of the typical 20 pack). Think I could get compliments going through 30? lol | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:17 PM. | |
