I now understand that a new eBay account is so restricted you cant make much money until it matures and that takes long time

Not really my first month selling on ebay I $800+ sales that's already something! 2nd month, add 50%, 3rd month was the same, and that month I got powerseller + TRS and $2700+ sales (90 to 120 days) and total sales of $2700+ after that it was $2200 to $2600 each month for a good 4 months until I lost TRS cause of open case etc.

My dollar store close out buy this morning was to good to be true.

Wall full of gloves. Gloves dont sell well in Florida. :doh:

ALL GLOVES 0.99 with arrows pointing down.

In those was some very expensive name brand gloves marked 24.99, 19.99, 16.99 etc.

Dazed knowing no way would they do this I filled the cart to the top with them.

I put them on the counter and she rang up first pair for 19.99. I said wait, those are 0.99. The clerk and she said that is for the brown jersey gloves only.

I said but the sign reads ALL GLOVES 0.99

She said let me check with the co manager.

She comes from the back and they talk for a second and the manager said to me the sign was suppose to be on the display over there for the brown jersey gloves.

I said wait a minute, if the sign reads all gloves 0.99. It does not say a specific type.

Co manager said since the sign was wrongly place by an employee we have to sell you a pair for that price.

I said no, it said all gloves, not one pair.

She said you are correct, our error and we have to sell you for the price posted.

Fuming mad she told the cashier ring them up for 0.99 and remind me to talk to Beth about the sign.

Walk out with some new brand name womens and mens gloves for 0.99.

Terapeaked some tonight and many sold in the 14-17 range and another one in the 9.00-12.00 range.

Lucky to be at the right place at the right time.

Same store that put 10.00 movies in the bin for 0.99 a while back.

I was at the sushi bar a few weeks ago and had the misfortune of sitting next to someone who claimed to own half the commercial property in town, and wouldn't shut up about it.

He left me with one bit of advice. The 99 cents store in CA/AZ/NV has nice bicycle lights and the same ones retail for $13 at the bike shop. He said if I sold them for $6 a piece on ebay I'd sell 25 a week.

I can't be bothered selling something for a few bucks profit, and I didn't particularly like the guy. But anyone interested can go ahead and take a stab at it ;)

I would of paid $0.99 and resold them for $9 on the spot back too them! :pound: lol

Eh kinda like me. I email a few on here giving them and telling them how to make it and what to do easy steps. Normally within 2nd email they understand. I ask a few others who make it, they tell me cause I share info. I honestly wouldn't care to get out of my niche! I hear their stuff, only too see if there is a way I could improve things with mine or give me an idea for my stuff.

Those lights, I wouldn't even care to sell it as well. 1 probably to heavy to ship, 2nd, might break, 3rd, omg are you kidding me? I should go in another state! Pft screw it thanks for the idea! lol. It would be something I wouldn't want to do either.

Apparently there are now stores to claim to sell $0.99 but also sell items for more.

In my area we have "The Dollar Tree". Everything in the store is $0.99.

We also have "The Dollar General". Most things in this store are more the $1. Doesn't make much sense.

Dollar stores dont sell much 1.00 stuff anymore.

A newer one has tried the everything 0.99 to compete but just are not doing well.

uneducated people are the ones I make the most money on! :pound: easy to target, you can manipulate them by the millions at a time!

I only buy a lotto ticket when it's over $100 million or else it's not worth it!

Yeah those people go to bars, play poker, casino's without a system :pound: then say the house is cheating they do cheat if you have a system!

Believe me if marketed correctly you could find customers and get them to believe and buy your watch over me because the boogie man outside is watching. See how the As seen on TV crap sells? Most of it is crap.

Roscoe, you know who buys from seen on TV? People with 3 eyes, 2.5 legs, half a brain, and can't count to 4!

There is no other explanation for this!!!! Are people that dumb to see stuff on TV and still buy it? Are they marketing people with an IQ lower then 85???

There was also a case in the past few months where a guy ate 2-3 BAGS of microwave popcorn for the past 10-15 years, and he is now 55 or so with respiratory problem. Sued the popcorn company saying the ingrediants and process of microwaving the popcorn did this to him. He won around 7-10 million i want to say. Thats like 16,000 bags of popcorn, wtf lol.
