Here's how to make $ from the Dollar store guys :) USA!

You may try this in Canada but shipping to the USA is a lot of money.

I seen people on here wanting to learn how to make money.

Most of you don't know but you can buy stuff on ebay and sell it in the papers k? Jewelry is very good to do. Cause if a tag says retail price $1300 it cost them $130 to get and stores sell it for half of retail price k.

K I am going to show you how to make money from the $ store guys!

#1 I hate people buying used stuff and going to pawn shops and so on. You are limiting your self!!!!!!

#2 I hate having limits! We all do!

I myself sell products on ebay and earn 400% on my money. $40 to $80 per day profits but I don't do nothing I let my auctions run 30 days with history on it and I got unlimited supplies! :)

K so here is how to make money with the $1 store.

I use to buy 10 items at the dollar store that looked like it was worth more then $1. I would take very good pictures of it. And post in the titles "Buy 2 for the price of 1 Retail $19.99" I had gotten 2 lighters from the dollar store and posted it up on ebay for .01 cent to attract people. Now women are the best they spend countless money on useless things! Look at how many shoes your wife has ;) lol.

K so you buy stuff from dollar store and sell it a bit higher. It worked for me while I was living in the USA about 7 years ago. I couldn't believe it. Most people buy it for over $5 with $2 S&H! Also get stuff that doesn't cost much on shipping either.

Some of you out there try it what you got to lose? $1??? Let me know how it went! :)

I don't do this no more cause being in Luxembourg is very pricy and we don't have dollar store or euro store as it's a very rich country not worth it too me, and plus I have to go to France to ship it from stuff from Germany and expensive to ship out and takes forever. I could do it but I rather do my stuff already in the long run.

Let me know guys! :) Try it out and let me know! :)

What products did you purchase out of the dollar store that sold well on eBay?

I wanted to thank you again as well! I would just like to know what items sold well on eBay from the dollar store....or what category did well

GhostWhoWalks 01-05-2013 05:36 PM

Just as I said. get items at the store that look like they are worth a lot or look like they could be worth $20 and resell. Picture frames are cheap, and light to ship! Just random things that are small just walk around the Dollar store and look at stuff you would think are worth like $10 or $20. Give it a try! Each store has different things really. Depends, some have stuff animals, some got gloves, hats, just really depends!

GhostWhoWalks 01-05-2013 05:42 PM

Here are some things, I snapped pictures of in Canada when I was there for 2 weeks christmas vacation. Just remember post the items at $.01 to get more hits and make them pay for shipping or not depends really.

Some items are:

Candles
Statues
Animal moldings you might find to put as decorations.
Picture frames was always the best.
Gloves, hats, get 2 of them and sell it as a package or even 8.95 deal free S&H!
stuff animals
some lotion bottle stuff, I seen 4 in one, so you get 4 bottles for 1 or 2 bucks at the canadian store. dollaroma or whatever its called.
oh clocks! they got them for $2 and different styles in the clocks so they can pick and make it say retail $24.99 and post it for $7 or $12 even.
plastic kitchen stuff.

those would be some of things i'd resell.

at times get 2 and post as 2 for the price of 1 as i said before. you guys try it out and let me know!

Nephilim 01-06-2013 12:36 PM

Excellent info! I especially love this that you said:

"Now women are the best they spend countless money on useless things! Look at how many shoes your wife has lol."

My wife cleaned my credit card out with useless junk; however I was able to resell those for a decent profit!
Now I can just hand here the credit card and not be guilty of her spending! :pound:

bruceuk 01-06-2013 01:24 PM

Good info for guys looking for new lines .
But this can be taken a step further after i learned some time ago.
When visiting £1 stores in uk i noticed a pile of empty boxes one day so quickly asked if i could have them .
Goldmine.
Every box had suppliers details on so i quickly cut out the £1 shops and went straight to the 50p wholesalers .
Morale of this tale if your a pound shop guy , ask for empty boxes there usually glad to get rid off them if you want access to there suppliers that is..

GhostWhoWalks 01-07-2013 03:09 PM

Nephilim - The funny thing is when you do clean it out also, is that they never notice it gone! lol.

Bruceuk - skies the limit once you do it from the $1 store, find out how to get it without the Dollar store on your own for a bit more profits, but still those places will probably have more junky products to resell that look like a billion bucks ;)

Very nice they were to lazy to remove the name from the boxes! lol 50 cent wholesalers! NICE! I wanted to work for a company to do the same.

GhostWhoWalks 01-13-2013 05:24 PM

Anyone try this yet? It's been 2 weeks since I posted!

Sandy D 01-14-2013 06:28 AM

I have been buying items from the dollar stores here for several years. When I posted people laughed about it.

Builds some new accounts, make me some profit and a nice variety of products that can be bar scanned or terapeaked to see if it is worth it.

Not going to reveal the exact item but I sell a food item over and over and over.

Buy them by the box and usually many boxes at a time.

33 cent Tuna for the win!

Bingo. Not tuna but close.

Sell the heck out of these little gems.

1,5, 10 or a case always sells at a high rate over and over.

Come on I even sell a special jam only found in Florida by the box fulls.

Not that hard folks.

Rumor has it Tim Tebow is going to be traded to Jacksonville during off season.

And no one on the current roster has his number, so I bought up a ton of Jacksonville Jaqs hats with TEBOWS NUMBER ON THE BACK. If it works out he does not come here the dollar store item will be easily sold with a few bucks profit. If he comes here, the dollar stores just landed me some crazy cash.

Remember when CARS came out, dollar stores has shelves full of Mater cars, bought many of them waited for the movie to be done running, listed on ebay and MATER made me some money.

Dollar stores can be a real money make if you take the time to look around.

BRAVO! I don't even look at bar scan or terapeaked! Why make competition when you can be your own!

Nice work on doing it for many years. Just for kicks you spend a $1 and people buy it for how much? <--- The answer too this always makes me laugh! lol

The stuff I would buy for $1 with 6% sales tax I would sell for $7 each plus shipping and handling! lol.

A lot of people dont like Trump but the man can turn the cash like no one else.

Sandy D 01-19-2013 03:15 AM

I am waiting for the next union factory to announce they are closing so I can buy up some more product.

25.00 per hr to make twinkies plus free health care.

No wonder we cannot manufacture anything of our own.

AmazonStealth 01-19-2013 03:19 AM

Or better yet, you can buy 100 of that one item for $10 from china shipped.

Sandy D 01-20-2013 01:20 AM

You have to do research....Research research research....If you cant think of cheap everyday items that people use everyday it will be hard for you to succeed selling online period but I wish you the best of luck

AmazonStealth 01-20-2013 03:08 AM

this couldnt be further from the truth.

I think there is a Canadian company that was licensed by Hostess to make Twinkies and they were not impacted by the strike. Might be able to get hooked up that way. :canada:

they_screwed_me_too 01-20-2013 08:43 AM

i buy packs of 3-4 or 5 items for a quid

split then and sell them for a 99p and 99p s and h

Yeah but...... what if the person scams you out of your money? Or you can't find someone to rely on out there? + shipping and even maybe + duty tax at customs. Not to mention the time and research + Western Union payment? After those fees I would say $200+ still k .20 cents but... like I said scams are out there. I don't think any of them would deal with you just for $10 either.

This is for people who have no money just $2 to start.

China I really don't trust that much at all.

If word gets out they will be made in bulk again the bottom will drop out like a rock.

Remember one of the main rules of marketing.

Get and have a product that people dont think they can get again, the gotta have it idea.

I have seen people fighting over boxes at the 7-11.

Once and if they do make them again, it will be a forgotten matter and no money would be made.

Ever tried deep fried twinkies?

Jump on the bandwagon, make your money and jump off.

Timing is everything.

cortex 01-20-2013 05:22 PM

I do some thing similar.

I buy items for $1 from china and sell them for $5.

I've been doing it for years.

Yes, it's called Scarcity tactic. Works very well and youu can charge Premium prices.

Special Cars such as Corvette Special Edition, etc... command more Buyers than cars available. You will also pay the dealer higher than sticker price. You may also be on a waiting list.

You can re-release a Limited product again but normally the supply is smaller and a very limited time to buy.

Sandy D 01-20-2013 06:00 PM

I spent most of the afternoon at Big Lots. I bought a pallet of discontinued items from a company.

People, items are out there you just have to be out and about.

Like I was told as a young kid learning the antiques business if you learn something, you should never forget it, all you need to do is know where to buy it and where to sell it.

I bought an item at a Goodwill store on my way back today is probably one of the best antique items I have had in my hands in a long time.

Early 1900s item for 4.99 that should return 300-500 if not more. Researching right now because I have that pit in my stomach about it.

mastaflappa 01-20-2013 11:49 PM

I usually sell the cd's, dvd's and psp movies from the dollar store as long as they're in ebay's product catalog, not to make a profit though I use them to start my account off or cover up a neg.

GhostWhoWalks 01-21-2013 12:10 AM

I like to sell stuff I can fit a lot in a plastic mailers I sell. And that don't weight much either like 2 to 3 oz. I do free S&H on top of it. And my source is unlimited and these items have been hot for over 10 years and will always be HOT for the next 10 years. Once I set up my account again. I'll get a 2nd one working and start doing websites, and see if anyone comes to buy without doing ads online or anything like that really. My friend can do my SEO for my websites he said. I plan on having over 150 websites.

I've seen sellers doing very good on ebay one seller made a good $80k in one month on his one account. Back in 2003 I noticed one seller had websites and they all registered to him as I did a check on it. The guy had 5 accounts and 6 websites and earning $20k a month this is why I got into this ebay thing and the same product but it took me a year to figure out how to get it. And I spent countless hours.

RESEARCH IS THE KEY! Time is the key, being smart helps play a roll. Having a bit of money also helps!

I started playing this game on facebook and earning $20 to $110 a PER DAY! Selling the items I won in a game to other players. I used up that money to start with products from the UK. I worked in a hotel at night so I invested my time into service = $$$$ So I used that money to buy stuff out of the UK to try it out to see if it works whats 200 British pounds? NOTHING! So after a few months of seeing sales doing good I invested $2.5k (I could of waited to save up this money but I said screw it time is money so to speed up the process I invested my own money, got it back within 2 months) into the states and I have so many friends there who do my shipping if needed but I always got one person doing it.

Each person has it's own thing and sees the money. I use to want to sell laptops but to find laptop and keep up with doing newer auctions and so on takes time and sure you sell it for $1k and you get 10 to 20% profits and you need to buy a lot like $10k worth of laptops to get a good deal but this was in 2003 when I use to be into this but not anymore. If one buyer claims that he didn't get it and wants to scam you, you just lost the next 10 sales cause of them.

Sell stuff that's very cheap, high profits, low on shipping costs, I do the buy 2 get 3rd one free, deals. People buy it for them, and gifts for others it's the best thing to do.
