Sandy...I keep vouching for your 49ers pick to win and you seem to be going another route...don't make me sad :mad2: | Sorry to make you sad but the 49ers have almost no chance to get to the SB in my opinion.
Several better teams still there and I dont think they can win enough back to back games to win it all. |

| AmazonStealth | 01-08-2013 05:27 PM | NFL playoffs are always quality games. The Broncos and Patriots are HIGHLY favorites this week. The Packers/49ers game will come down to the offensive production by 49ers qb, and which one will decide to show up. Many people may be fading on the Packers, but with a fully healthy team I would not put my money on the 49ers even with a week off. As for Falcons/Seahawks, Wilson is highly under rated, and now that he has been highly covered everyone loves him. I have followed the quite seahawks all year and have been a solid play. As for the Falcons, history proves they cant get the job done, but that doesnt mean they wont, and I think this is the most 50/50 game, edge to Seattle. |
| slim jim | 01-08-2013 08:16 PM | Seattle has been on fire and atlanta has never proven anything come playoff time. Much respect to peyton but the ravens are technically better than ever since they finally have an offense. I don't care how bad of a streak they r on but ne should not be layin so many pts to houston |

I was right on taking the 49ers Sandy - hope you listened up :) I love GB but I love the 49ers franchise better. |

The Broncos would not be half as good of a team without Payton. I never really liked the guy, but after seeing him come back from last season, and having the Colts let him go like that after all he done for them. I have mad respect for him now and was rooting for him after the Pack. Sucks to see them both out now. |
| Sandy D | 01-13-2013 09:55 PM | Manning should win the MVP.
He took a not so good team and MADE them good.
I dont believe he is a choker either.
I cannot remember him ever choking or making a Favre like interception like he did yesterday in the past. |

I give credit when it is due to someone who earned it. I never like Brett Favre at all, and he has nothing close to Manning numbers but gets mentioned all the time along the best when personally he would be lucky to get into my top 25 of all time QBs
Always mentioned as one of the best QBs of all time.
Is one of the smartest players ever to play the game. Knows the game inside and out. Far better then majority of coaches.
I would not mind be called a choker by a select few people with records like this.
******
From 1998 to 2010, he led the Colts to eight (seven AFC South and one AFC East) division championships, two AFC championships, and to a Super Bowl championship (Super Bowl XLI).

has been named to twelve Pro Bowls,
has twelve 4,000-yard passing seasons,[2][3] and is the Indianapolis Colts' all-time leader in passing yards (54,828) and touchdown passes (399).
In 2009, he was named the best player in the NFL[2][3] and Fox Sports along with
Sports Illustrated named him the NFL player of the decade of the 2000s.

With one Super Bowl ring he even has one more rings them 99.0 of all QBs to ever play the game.
Yup. He is a choker.
Not to mention what kind of person in life he is and what he gives back to kids.
And I need to add. It was stupid to take a knee with 31 sec to go in regulation in that game. Knowing the Ravens D players were worn out, out of breathe and could have been abused. Coach made the call and the coach choked, not Manning. |
Disappointed with the Texans - I did want them to get through Patriots but the game was close to the regular game rout by Pats. |

Betting man would bet on the niners and pats but with the way things go you just never can tell. Momentum shows they just might make a great SB matchup. |

| zoneout | 01-14-2013 02:24 AM | Favre was way more fun to watch than Peyton.
But I agree about taking a knee the last 36 secs. Brutal. When you play `not to lose` you usually do. |

Ravens D was tired and worn out.
Coach screwed up big time.
Two different types of players.
Favre had grit, athletic and but overall less QB talent then Peyton.
Peyton much smarter, better passer, did not have the talent that Favre had around him for many years.
Colts would have went to another SB if they would not have let E James go that one year. |
| zoneout | 01-14-2013 03:34 AM | I always thought John Fox was one of the better coaches in FB. But that call is indefensible. Especially in Mile High where 60 yard field goals are routine. Could you see Bellichek doing that with Brady? No way.
But maybe Ray Lewis is right and God is a Ravens fan. |
Let the Colts go Sandy_D :) |
| AmazonStealth | 01-14-2013 03:24 PM | Lines for upcoming games:
SF(-4.5) @ ATL
BAL @ NE (-9.5)
Personally I would take ATL +4.5 and BAL +9.5 | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 04:05 PM. | |
