| Sandy D | 01-23-2013 04:24 PM | Did you see where the NFL is looking into the slide Tom Brady made with his leg up to protect himself from being hit?
Looking into seeing if he should not have stuck his leg up?
Are you kidding me?
After 7 helmet to helmet hits by the dirty Ravens they want to look at this and not the rabid Ravens head hunters?
If it were me and I was the commish I would review the game and any direct head to head hit by any player that showed it could have been avoided that player would be gone for the super bowl period.
Send a message real quick that head hunting is over.
Use the dirtiest team in the leaque to set an example. |
| slim jim | 01-23-2013 05:00 PM | I wonder how much they have made from all these fines |

It's truly one big joke. I can't even put it into words how unbelievably inconsistent the league is for calling fines and determining penalties.
Apparently fining a player $10k for wearing his socks too low last week, is more important than noticing the odd pattern that Ravens (particularly Bernard Pollard) has with injuring Patriots top players' year after year. There's no way it's a coincidence anymore. Not only that, but just how dirty the Ravens play in general. Ravens coaches must be teaching the players how to make dirty tackles look clean. Then every so often it doesn't quite work and the result is injured players and thankfully, some penalties.

| Sandy D | 01-23-2013 11:38 PM | They have been getting away with it for years.
Must have learned it from the Steelers who used to do the same thing. |
| NGALO1983 | 01-24-2013 01:51 AM | 49ers favored to win but I still got Ravens for the win. If anybody wants to make a friendly wager on the game then PM me I got Ravens all day. My team is the Raiders but we succ almost every year ='( Still a fan though. Haloti Ngata who plays for Ravens, his little brother is my best friend so Ravens always been my second fav team. Go Ravens!!!! |

The other thing that ticks me off is the ESPN guys and fans are all cranked up about the retirement of Ray Lewis.
Sure he has been an awesome player and is a good god loving man but come on the man will be a HOF but he is not among the best ever.
Then the issue is Tony Gonzalez. Mr Cool and is one of the best ever to play the game at TE said early this would be his last year and no one says a word.
Gonzalez will be a HOF and probably in the top 5 if not top 2-3 TE ever.
Ray Lewis would not make my top 50 LB of all time.
Then the issue of Miami Hurricanes, I call it the dirty U, and of course Lewis played there. They won titles by being good but also were known for being dirty. The Ohio St Buckeyes were bitten, scratched, cleated, stepped on in the championship game and ended up beating them anyway.
The U is a training grounds for many dirty players. Not all but many.
Remember when the U players went into the stands and was hitting opposing teams fans with their helmets. Bunch of criminals playing football. | Couldn't agree more with what you said. AND don't forget Lewis was indicted on murder charges back in 2000, lied to police and got off by testifying against his two buddies. Seems everyone has forgotten about that. Then in 2004 settled for an undisclosed amount of money to each of the families of the 2 guys that got stabbed by Lewis and his buddies.
And now all of sudden he's a family man and all close with God?
It's crazy what you can get away with when you have money.
Go 9ners! |
| NGALO1983 | 01-26-2013 02:51 AM | 49ers Vs Ravens...Should be a good game |

Go 9ners! | Sad I have to think this way but when I think of any team in college as the team of criminals I always think of Miami U.
For years many of their U players have been arrested for gangs issues, drugs, rape, break ins and the final straw was when Ucriminals went into the stands and used their helmets on opposing teams fans.
Introductions get me, when someone says I am from "The U" I automatically think oh boy, wonder what house he broke into. They say it with pride but its done nothing to deserve any pride. |
Actually thinking of going to Norleans for this...some kind of deal came up for a pair of tickets but debating on going or flipping with my friend in the States hah |
| NGALO1983 | 01-28-2013 03:52 AM | Ravens Vs 49ers game almost here...Anybody trying to have a friendly bet? If you all are scared its okay. 49ers favored to win im going for the underdog. Anything u can put up I can match that ;) |

| AmazonStealth | 01-29-2013 03:18 AM | If I were to pick this game, I would say Baltimore straight up. I know this is probably a wrong pick, but when the public LOVES a certain team, I tend to go the opposite. |

The game itself is only 10% of the fun. New Orleans, the atmosphere and everything a super bowl brings is pretty fun, and when you throw in nice weather it doesnt get any better. |
Very true - the fun is in the tailgating and outside game antics |
| NGALO1983 | 02-02-2013 03:57 AM | Ravens Vs 49ers this Sunday. The comercials for the Superbowl are funny. Barbeque and beer all day and everyone is invited to my house. Breaks my heart though that I only got one bet on here I was pretty sure that someone on here is a 49ers fan. They have a huge fan base but I guess everybody knows that the Ravens will win. 49ers voted highly to win the game though by alot. Thought we had alot of "Ballers" on here? Its all good maybe next time. Die hard Raiders fan but since we aint in I been rooting for the Ravens beginning of the playoffs. Go Ravens!!! |

| AmazonStealth | 02-02-2013 10:24 PM | Ravens +4.5. If you feel a little more ballsy Ravens straight up. Should be a fun watch. |

:suspicious:
49ers 31
Head Hunter Dirty Team 23
Lets see how many key players will get hit in the head by Ravens player.
What 49er player will be the first? if you see them get away with it one time then they will continue to head hunt Gore, Moss, Kap, Crabtree or any playmaker. |
| Packattack12 | 02-03-2013 05:38 PM | Football Playoffs Pool (For Fun) Niners - 31
