Now that is when the real money comes in.

Just screen your people well so you dont have to go back in and fix their destruction.

As I expected overpaid.

Yup, 40.00 a day is just too much for you to earn, or I mean get.

Starting to spend a lot of time lately... I'm trying to give myself a raise.

Whether you agree with me or not is irrelevant.

You do not own a true business if you have to work in that business to make it survive on a daily/weekly business.

Bill Gates owned a business, went from Private to Public.

If you can not go away on holiday for one month and make the same money or more without you being involved in the business then you really don't own a business.

You have a high paying JOB.

A dentist or doctor is not a business. Patients must be in their office to make money.

If you own an accounting firm and have employees that continue to make you money while your away then you own a business.

Too many people get sick, disabled, divorced, etc... and their business goes belly up when they are not doing the actual work.

Try and sell your Ebay business (JOB), ain't gonna happen.

You can make great money doing Ebay but don't think you have a real business.

I'm a business consultant, I've seen so many small business owners get wiped out with one sickness, one injury, divorce, etc...

They work for decades to build up what they thought was a business only to find out they had a JOB.

Just a quick question, so in all those 6 years did you ever learn how to manage your finances? the reason I asked is because nobody who knows how to manage their finances needs a quick payout, you can live like you're rich working at Mcd's if you know your numbers, my advice would be to learn how to use something like Quickbooks, I think it can help you out quite a bit..

This kid is a complete joke, and full of crap. His posts are assuming, and they have gotten to the point where he just convinces himself of how "well off his is". People who work at mcdonalds have no chance of living any realistic lifestlye. Most are there because they have a kid, no schooling, in high school, etc., which means they can not work 14 hours a day. They most likely work 8-10 at the highest.

So given the fact that the McD worker puts in an average of 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, that would be 2,600 hours a year @ California's minimum wage it would be $20,800. Factor in taxes and you would be net around $16,365 A YEAR. I could go on and on and one with minimal daily living expenses, but as a finance expert you already know this, right?

A McD worker would need to work over 7 years and not spend a penny to purchase the vehicle I use as my dd, and I do not live "lavishly". You do realize the point of income/happiness is around $75,000 a year?

I agree with you on this one. A popular "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" quote.

If I use 3rd party software to schedule all of my listings to execute at certain times weekly, and only ship once a month, is it still just a JOB?

I mean, yeah my customers might not like the longer shipping times, but the business still functions without me for a long time. Does that make it a BUSINESS now?

Or are you simply saying that unless you have employees....you aren't running a real BUSINESS?

That's definitely closer to a business than a JOB.

If you could hire someone to do that and not be involved on a daily basis then you would be very close to running a real business.

There's more to it than I mentioned here, but if you're currently doing that AND making a good income then yes, you have a business.
