Facebook, do you use it?

Im leaving facebook they started charging fees to send messages to non friends like 1 dollar and they keep blocking me for no reason when im chatting to friends. I think facebook was only a quick get rich millionaire type of deal with its stocks.

Do you guys use it?

Gamefreak 04-17-2013 02:05 AM

Use more like log in to see what my friends are posting usually stupid stuff anyways...

I use it very lightly - maybe 1x a month if not 2 months.

Are you sure facebook is charging you to send messages to non-friends?

I know they own the company, but if they start doing that then there whole business wouldn't make sense as it's a social networking site, therefore free to use.

YUP! It cost a $1. to send a message to someone who is not on your friend list for the message to go into their in-box.

AND: It costs $100. if you want to send a in-box message to Mark Zuckerberg.

Just tried in the UK and it didn't try and charge me anything.

I could see why facebook would like to charge people to send messages to VIPs as this would increase there profit massively, but they would have to have the VIP's permission to do so. Also, who knows if they even check there messages!

Personally I think this is really cheeky and if they did start charging to send messages to non-friends then people would start to look for alternative social networking sites, as we all know this could easily happen if they start to get too greedy. No one likes to be charged for anything let alone a free site like facebook!

I've not had a personal Facebook in years. Used it for free marketing on a couple websites.

Just a lot of drama and useless knowledge from everybody in my opinion.

yotano211 04-18-2013 07:10 PM

I use it to talk to girls all the time.

It's bigger than Google.. lots of people use Facebook and will continue doing so until they try to squeeze too much money of it and it dies.

lol, its not what I said. I dont use it, only use it to watch some pictures from family in Miami or sometimes Cuba. Most of the things people post on it are just repeats from other boring people.

rsot 04-20-2013 09:02 AM

Free = limited
Paid = limited

Facebook gives you what THEY want.

If you can name 10 people that made over 100000$
With facebook i would tell you that they are lying.
Like clickbank "gurus", the only ones making money is the vendors. Not the actual buyers who believes their ***t. Sure facebook can generate traffic, but when it's up to conversion = profit = €$£ then facebook is not worth the time.
Google ads can be free and better for that cause and Google isnt that good neighter. If you had success then good for you, but most wont
