I like the Islanders pushing nice and hard back on the Penguins - that was a bad loss.

after that first game where they had that crazy amount of shots but were still losing made them in big trouble for the series

Toronto vs Boston should be a long drawn out series - Toronto is in after missing playoffs for 9 seasons

Might watch that tonight, as a Sens fan though, not sure which team to cheer for lol

As for Montreal, it's unfortunate but their team is too small for the playoffs

Really ugly way the Habs-Sens games ended last night - snarl.

Nice one by the Islanders - really pushing hard.

Yeah wasn't a pretty win yesterday, but we'll take it because the Sens are usually on the losing end of a game like that.

Yes thats 2 years now for Vancouver to early exit in the first round ...curse of the riots from 3 years back when they played Boston in the finals and lost (Boston Strong)

Growing up in a sports nut family with lot of athletic brothers and sisters and playing all sports myself. Sports crazy lazy still today I can honestly say without hurting anyones feelings--- Watching hockey is about as boring as watching 18 rounds of golf on TV.

Dont know why but bowling, golf and hockey are boring to me.

I have and do golf once in a while but to sit and watch one of these happening is a killer for me.

Golf is slow to watch I agree - I dont watch bowling...not my thing - playing though? Sure I wouldnt mind.

As for my team, sick loss to Senators last night - 6-1 throttling...oh well year is done.

Nice win by the Penguins - solid

I have grown to stand it. But the region I come from. CA and the South West. Nobody plays hockey because it doesn't snow in most of these states. So only a select few even care about the teams. I mean 3 teams in CA and one in Phoneix. You have to be kidding me. When the Kings won and Anahiem won people in the region yawned. Lakers or Dodgers win and they burn down the city.

Personally hockey has over expanded and is in a bunch of markets it doesn't belong.

I think lots of people think hockey is boring because they never played it. In areas were it doesn't snow and what not. You have no reason to ever play it or care about it. Only reason I even learned to stand it was because and EX was really into it.

True point vogeltron, expanded into markets where it doesnt belong...and then the league complains about low revenue...go figure eh.

Anyhow, second round about set - Chicago looking strong as expected. Toronto making it a good push - here`s hoping at least game 7

I will admit San Jose is kinda weird when it comes to hockey. Nerds seem to have always liked Hockey but no other sport. No offense to anyone.

But the rest of the Bay Area, San Fran and Oakland could absolutely care less about the sharks other than a small amount of people. The main sports talk station kicks them off. They would rather hear about the Warriors who had a good season but were terrible for 20 years.

Even the 20 years of sucking people would rather hear about the warriors losing 70 games rather hear about than the Sharks making the playoffs 10 years in a row or whatever.

But L.A. basically having two teams. Terrible. Also Phoneix. I mean seriously you are going to put a pro hockey team in the middle of the desert?

I am not really a huge hockey fan I have said. To me it was like having a MLB team in Montreal. Or a MLB in Miami or Tampa Bay were the fans could care less. I understand what sucks for the sport you love.

Glad for Canadians to pull the team out of Atlanta. You just need to grab 4-6 more from crappy hockey markets.

/mourn lose of MLB in Montreal.

On the other hand, Toronto forcing the game 7 is exciting for the city after 9 years of no playoff hockey.

Good push by Rangers and the Capitals series too
