Was a psychiatrist in Australia who had celebrity status.

Was the first to prescribe the new, wonder drugs to patients.

All of that was done without having any understanding of the horrendous side effects sadly.

Then out of the blue, this psychiatrist killed his family and then himself.

The post mortem enquiry found that he had completely overdosed himself on medications.
One of the most scary things ever.

how were the meds to blame?

The type he was taken were proven to have serious side effects.

He had a cocktail of drugs apparently.

He was under medical care. But he was also self-medicating.

some anti depressants have VERY BAD side effects.

My step mother was on them and she was having suicidal thoughts, so my father flushed them.

You cant just blame the meds only for his state of actions - obviously he had some intent to do harm...not in the best sanity of mind :( sad to hear

no it is the meds, take a look around the internet, some anti depressants have been removed from the market because of the very bad side effects.
Not everyone who is depressed, wants to kill themselves.
