Weird move by the Tigers to hire a new manager who has never managed a team before.
With all that talent they can win it all with the right moves etc.
Wondering what they were thinking?

Weird move because he protected Cabera.

Its because he belly flopped rounding 3rd base. They couldn't bear to bring him back after that stunt...
Kinsler is a dynamic hitter though. They'll be fine.
It's easier to find a 1B that can hit than a 2B that is an offensive force.

Always like him as a hitter but seems to be very lazy.

I see a lot of trades and moves coming this year.
Dodgers have to make some moves.
Yankees need to replace many.
Detroit still needs some speed.
St Louis is a power hitting 1st baseman.

...and my Mets need about 23 players
Cardinals will more than likely move Allen Craig to 1B to make room for Oscar Taveras.
I like Detroit's trade to get Kinsler. It frees up Miggy to move back to 1B and Kinsler helps their speed at the top of the lineup.
Yankees need to win the posting bid to get Tanaka. Their starting pitching depth is poor and Tanaka would help them.

Does not make any sense.
Then again my personal though was Pujols always reminded me of a McGwire.
Half swings, missing the ball and still hit it 500 ft.
