This is too funny!

McCain retracts Palin's Pakistan comments
From CNN's Emily Sherman

WASHINGTON (CNN)— Sen. John McCain retracted Sarah Palin's stance on Pakistan Sunday morning, after the Alaska governor appeared to back Sen. Barack Obama's support for unilateral strikes inside Pakistan against terrorists.

"She would not…she understands and has stated repeatedly that we're not going to do anything except in America's national security interest," McCain told ABC's George Stephanopoulos of Palin. "In all due respect, people going around and… sticking a microphone while conversations are being held, and then all of a sudden that's—that's a person's position… This is a free country, but I don't think most Americans think that that's a definite policy statement made by Governor Palin."

Saturday night, while on a stop for cheesesteaks in South Philadelphia, Palin was questioned by a Temple graduate student about whether the U.S. should cross the border from Afghanistan into Pakistan.

"If that's what we have to do stop the terrorists from coming any further in, absolutely, we should," Palin said.

During Friday night's presidential debate in Mississippi, Obama took a similar stance and condemned the Bush administration for failing to act on the possibility terrorists are in Pakistan.

"Nobody talked about attacking Pakistan," Obama said after McCain accused the Illinois senator of wanting to announce an invasion. "If the United States has al Qaeda, bin Laden, top-level lieutenants in our sights, and Pakistan is unable or unwilling to act, then we should take them out."

McCain emphasized Sunday, Palin "shares" his view on the matter.
Why, that's absurd!
We can't expect the VP Elect to actually know what she's talking about!

I don't watch broadcast TV, so I missed this Couric / Palin Open to last Saturday's SNL:

Saturday Night Live - Couric / Palin Open - Video - NBC.com

Too funny!
But too true.

I just saw this, as well:

Doesn't Palin want to invade Russia?

Yeah. Apparently Palin and McCain are even more stupid than Bush. They're talking about potential wars with Russia and Iran. Both have nuclear weapons. Bush was stupid but at least smart enough to invade Afghanistan and Iraq, both which had virtually no army and no WMD's. Russia however has 20,000 nuclear weapons. Iran has at least a few.

BooMer 09-29-2008 09:27 AM

Do you even Know what she is Talking about?

When “leaners” are included, it’s Obama 255, McCain 227.

McCain is like poop in the toilet bowl. Ready to be flushed. :D

Politics: Sarah Palin has a 93.8 percent approval rating -- on eBay - Doesn't this qualify her to be in the bottom 1% of Sellers?

I'll bet some of our crafty members can get Sarah Palin's eBay account suspended.

Just a reminder: She didn't sell the jet on eBay. It was sold through a brokerage - for a loss, and not a profit, as McCain said. Palin was always careful not to say she "sold" the jet on eBay.

HateEbay 09-29-2008 08:24 PM

I agree with Imjustme. People living in the states like California, New York tend to be more educated and know about outside world much better than people living in Nebraska, Arkansas, Missisispi, etc. If you travel outside of US and see American visitors in foreign countries, chances are they are from liberal states like California, New York. That is the reality.

Here We Go Again 09-29-2008 09:03 PM

Really??????
I am from Arkansas. Do I seem less educated to you?

It would have been better if they simply invaded Canada instead.

Jonas 09-30-2008 10:31 AM

Bill Clinton was from Arkansas.

As for the account that tried to sell Palin's jet

I looked at the sent feedback and they ended up leaving kl1256 a positive a month after they negged the account.

Not very ebay-savvy. That was back at the end of 2006. kl1256 should have panicked when they got the neg, then negged kl1256 back and tried to get a mutual withdraw. If that failed, try to convince ebay to remove the neg. If that failed, then sell 1000 cheap items like ebooks (not penny auctions necessarily, but just cheap items that are easy to sell) to boost their percentage, then get a better rating.

eBay is not the place to sell a 2.5 million jet. They'll get a buyer saying "I only pay through paypal". So the buyer pays via paypal 2.5 million and then you know what paypal does....

If you think McCain and Palin is more stupid then Bush then Obama is stupid as well because McCain, Palin and Obama are equally stupid. why?? because they are both the same.

i mean that they have the same political view. so it doesn't matter who u vote for. America will just stay the same if Obama or McCain is voted in. but o well its a controlled election anyways.

Quasi_Mojo 10-02-2008 11:42 AM

You're entitled to your opinion, Slavaja.
But it would be better if you posted facts and backed them up with sources. Saying McCain and Obama are the same is not a fact. They may share some ideas, but that's about as far as it goes.

ebayhateluv 10-02-2008 12:47 PM
