I want in the 3 pt contest.
2nd team All Ohio guard back in the day and could rain 3's with the best of them. 1300 points scored my senior year. Gunner-----
One of my brother's was also a 2nd teamer all state in 3 sports in the same year.
Bring it on Curry.
Get rid of the 3 pt shot and force some defense to be played. NBA is boring to watch anymore.

LOL -- I was the QB for the neighborhood get together Sunday football tackle games. They could not catch me.
Too damn old now to play but I can still hit those 3s.
One of my girls can nail them constantly and scored 38 points this year in a freshman game. She is only in 8th grade and moved up to play with the freshman girls.

Man when this team is on they look great. But they are Jekyll and Hyde. You never know what team is going to show up to the arena. The lack of consistency is quite frustrating.
Their biggest problem is that even though they added Iggy. That second team sucks. The starters are having to play way too much. Losing Jarrett Jack even though he was a turnover machine in last years playoffs and Carl Landry leaving for Sac has really hurt this team. They get next to nothing from that 2nd team.

Lebron James does it again. Love him or hate him. Given all the hype with him in H.S. and everything else. He has definitely lived up to it all. For the most part has had a relatively quiet off the court life as well. Just hate seeing him hit another Game winner vs my tanking Warriors. Seems like this is at least the third or 4th time over the years he has hit a shot like this to beat them.

Had James left Cleveland earlier he would have 2-3 more rings.
He is far better then Kobe ever was and is the best player in the league with Durant coming second.
If he continues to play like he has he will be for sure right up there with Jordon, Bird, Russell and others as the best ever.
He has it all. Jumping, speed, brains, shooting, blocking shots, stealing, his on court senses are amazing. No player I can think of had all of that other then Jordon. Bird had it all except slow as heck and could not jump.
Sometimes I think he toys with teams because he is so way beyond most teams players.

I grew up in a house full of boys and had to listen to how great Julius Erving, John Havlichek, Walt Frazier, Jerry West etc were.
They would often fight over who is the best.

Lebum James has nothing on the black mamba. Kobe will always be #2 behind Jordan with Lebum being #3

Last list I looked at
Jordon
Johnson
Bird
Chamberlin
James
Akeem
Jabbar
Erving
Russell
Can't remember 10 it was not kobe.
Lebron would eat jobe alive one on one

Lebron would eat jobe alive one on one | Shaquille O'Neal and Oscar Roberston you could add to that list above Kobe for me. Kobe has been a very good player but if he wasn't playing in L.A. people would look at him like they did Karl Malone, Clyde Drexler. Great player but top 10. I don't think so.

What NBA player in your mind never reached their full potential of what they could have been?
Tracey McGrady comes to mind. Lebron like talent and 2-3 really good years and the rest just good years. Had the potential for 10-12 great years easily.
Another who comes to mind is Vince Carter.

Another who comes to mind is Vince Carter. | Marvin "Bad News" Barnes is probably number one. A bit before my time but you can tell that man had all the talent in the world.

Ralph Sampson. | OMG. Had Hakeem and a healthy Sampson played together 5 or 10 years. As great as Jordan was. That Houston Rockets team was positioned to be unbelievable. It is so hard to get one true center in the NBA. To get a Talent like Sampson then have maybe the most athletic Big Man who played a true Center/PF like Olajuwon. Not one of these finesse guys like Dirk/Garnett.
I remember how good that Spurs team was with an Old David Robinson and a Young Duncan. Two young guys like that for the Rockets who did make the Finals early on. I agree 100%. Sampson is probably the biggest what could have been in my opinion.
