Not necessarily. There is an ARMY of professional, PAID anti-smoking activists. At first, they were being funded by the tobacco settlement and some of the tax revenue, but the states have cut back on the portion of that money that goes to smoking prevention (the activists). Therefore, they are probably looking for ANY way they can to save their jobs. Demonizing e-cigs would be a natural extension for them. They won't let SCIENCE get in their way!

Any time you have a group of people that are "anti-____" you can bet that a lot of them make their living from that.

Good answer. Also, how about big pharma. They're losing a lot of their patent protection soon and have a history of keeping the FDA in their back pocket. They love repackaging their crappy brain drugs into other uses like growing breasts on little boys. Remember Triptophan. <spelling?

for EB sellers who sell simply in categories that are "hot" -- this electronic cigarettes craze appears to be the current trend to ride .

any thoughts?

Re: Anyone using e-cigs?

Post was about using e-cigs...not really a sales-kind of thread...

Personally, those that got in early made some serious cash...unless you can get the best e-cig products at super low price. I'm sure the market is flooded with Chinese competitors offering the same products at insane low prices.

Re: Anyone using e-cigs?

on the topic of e-cigs and EB --
recently EB has banned the sale or listing the electronic cigarettes on EB -- due to differing laws concerning the product.

strange, and it sucks because its a hot selling category at the moment --
even now, tehre are numerous sellers on EB selling electronic cigs but once reported EB takes it down ..
