Default Questions about photo setups

I am needing to take more and more photos of my items, at one time most of what I sold had stock photos available but that's not the case now. So I need to invest in some stuff to make my photos a little bit more professional looking. I already have a good quality Nikon camera, its more things like lighting, mannquins, back drops etc that I need to work on.

Any suggestions from anyone of 1. where to get a reasonable price on a torso or 3/4 full round mannequin.
2. Any sort of adjustable floor lighting fixture that's readily available at one of the big box stores that you would recommend?
3. Has anyone used one of those pop up light box/photo cubes that are all over ebay? If so how did they work for you? Or were they flimsy and more trouble than they were worth?

You can buy mannequins off ebay.

You can buy solid and different color backdrops at wal mart fabric sections for a different look.
