I think what annoys brits about americans who compare soccer to american footballin terms of physicallity is that its not a fair comparison.

You would have to compare rugby and american football.

Only theres only one winner there!

Close game between Chile and Brazil - none of these teams are my favourites but I am kind of hoping that Chile knocked out the home team to see reactions haha

I'm not a fan of what I call commie kick ball. But I do like to gamble, so my money is on Brazil, when you haven't lost a game that counts on your home Soil in 39 years. I think they will win it all. Please correct me if I am wrong but I think they play Germany next. Which will be one heck of a game. Probably the two best teams from my limited Soccer knowledge.

Brazil takes on Germany early this week for semifinals. I do want Germany to pull through and k.o. them.

Brazil took a bad loss for their star player Neymar in the last game...feel bad for him though...cracked vertebra

It's a shame what happened to Neymar, wish him all the best.
But Germany will win over Brazil this Tuesday.
We will go to the finals to beat Netherland again (like in 1974).
Netherland NEVER won the world cup yet, no need to change this.

Even though it was a GREAT game yesterday.

I know Brazil lost their best player and their 2nd best. But at home in the World Cup. That will be hard to overcome, even with the losses by Germany. As far as the other round goes. Messi is probably the be player in the world. However, the Dutch seem to be the team of destiny. Brazil vs. Netherlands. 39 years of not losing on home soil for Brazil even one year when Pele went down. I just don't see it happening.

For me I see it as betting on the house. Like betting on the Yankess for many years in the 90's. Even given the setbacks.

Germany knows how it feels.
Home field advantage is huge but not everything.
We had to learn the hard way in 2006.
But anyway, let's hpe for a great game tomorrow, it will be tough though
