Now someone spills the beans. Why didnt anyone change passwords on the accounts, etc. Unless shes a hacker as well, which isnt off of the table. Maybe she isnt a she at all...Sandy D....Sandy D*ck??

There were no cases of hacking that I know of, only people not changing the passwords. When buying an account, you probably don't want to change the password the same day you buy it, but you should definitely change it within a couple of weeks.

She was no Hacker but she was pretty good at Social Engineering.....she convinced a lot of people NOT change their passwords for at least 6 months or so, so she still had a good window of time to pull off a major scam.

She talked a big game, I was one of the few that didn't believe she could of pulled off this scam but I was wrong.

this was my view, I did not read her posts, they were samey and boasting, and knowing a bit about the 'industry' eg. buying secondhand stuff, she was full of BS on her success....

bottom line and sorry to offend anyone, but if you are selling accs on this forum, your ebay/az/e-commerce business is either failed or not making what you would like as an income, end of story!! and I know the backgrounds on several acc sellers, past and present...


I pointed out via pm to other people, how she was making me vomit - 'I coined the phrase professional buyer' etc etc....

what knowledge, same as all the senior people here, we all know how to make accs and build and pass verifications and all that stuff noobs think they need to pay for or people in a hurry buy for convenience....thats all it is....

then again, I am just commenting on this 'guru' status some people thought she had....not about the account rip off affair, that is seperate, nobody can predict that....2 phrases spring to mind, 'follow the money' and 'if it doesn't make sense, it ain't true'.

it just shows you never know anyone online, and sometimes you do not know real-life people. Most people are well-meaning though, it is a shame to be always guarded, and some of the most unlikely people turn out to be gems....so no, I do not blame those buyers who did not change their passwords, after all we have all trusted and assumed all is ok, at one time or another............

I would agree with you with one exception. I make the majority of my accounts, over 90% in fact. But I HAVE bought accounts from sellers when time did not permit me to create accounts. When sales are running full blast, it is difficult to get everything done. But in the back of my mind, I know I need more accounts.

I have purchased from 123 and Sandy D and had no problems. But I ALWAYS change the passwords when money starts coming in. You don't necessarily want to change the password the same day you get the account because it might look suspicious. But you should probably change it after a couple of weeks and DEFINITELY change it when money starts coming in.

And I believe you are right about the account sellers to a point. I considered it a long time ago, but decided against it since I can make more money on eBay than I thought I could make creating and selling accounts. But I DO believe that many account sellers DO sell on eBay.

Sandy D was always very political, claiming the moral high ground and complaining about all the "takers" and touting her hard work and success. I learned long ago to be wary of people like that. When someone has to constantly tell people what a great person they are, how they help so many people and how they are super successful, usually it is just an illusion. Sandy D turned out to be one of the biggest "takers" of all.

If i bought an account from ANYONE, password would be changed on day 1. I dont care who sold it to me.

@jeff, I could read your posts all day long, you really do help people and know your stuff...

I would change the password too, but the people that did not, they slipped up, we all have...changing the password flags it, so jeff is right, day 1 is not necessarily the best time, as it is when you are managinging it on a new ip/cookies and all that dicey stuff....

re the acc sellers, I know most of them sell on ebay, just not successfully enough not to do sidelines.....full-on e-commerce and all its pitfalls, isnt for everyone though....

Oompa you make good points but I disagree with the comments about acct sellers, I can't speak for everyone but I still sell on both amazon & ebay and make a good living off that alone but I don't like putting all my eggs in one basket. If in the future the products I make most of my money off go bad I don't want to lose all my income. So I try to diversify my portfolio as much as possible, the same reason I sell accounts is the same reason I operate multiple businesses & websites that have nothing to do with ebay. I dont want all my eggs in one basket.

I agree with 123 regarding oompaloompa ... I disgree completely with her comments, i have NEVER spoken her about my life, so you cannot profess to know about my life.
Not that its anyone's business but i have multiple successful ebay business's which is my sole income and do sell on this forum to support my family back in SA.
With you knowing one sellers personal life, does not mean you know us all as you imply.

I could also quite easily be sitting at home making babies claiming benefits like some people... but i do not and work hard for what i have earn, and find your post offensive.

You find almost every post offensive, so it's not really a big surprise. Hell, you even found one of my posts offensive that had absolutely nothing to do with you. Not trying to step on anyone's toes here, but this is the internet...I'd hate to see what happens in "real life" if you are offended by some bs remarks online. And I mean all of that in the nicest, most unoffensive way possible.

I said I knew the backgrounds of many acc sellers past and present, not all of them...
anyway eggs in different baskets is a good point, and it is extra income but the thread was about sd and the equation of great success in business/any business + needing to sell accs = BS....as soon as she started selling accs, I knew the story did not add up......and if benefits is your default measurement then sure, acc selling is a big step up.....

But anyway i do agree with your sentiment.
All i was trying to say to the coment was dont paint us all with the same tar brush that is all.

I lost some money from the massive fraud that Sandy pulled off. I usually make my own accounts, but at that time I didnt want to make accounts. I wanted some accounts that were already had some feedback. She was selling accounts with feedback at that time frame. So I sent her money for accounts, after not hearing from her for about a week. I got suspicious of something.

I opened cases with paypal but she knew how to work paypal to the full extent. In the end I was able to recover about half of the funds I sent her.

And yes I am sure she/he is still reads these forums from time to time. Waiting for right time to come back.

She/he was actually the least helpful out of all the exec members here. Made a lot of hyperbolic claims and her helpful responses were always generic at best.
