she arrived at the forum with no particular extra knowledge, and she has not done anything more than make accounts...she learnt how to make acc and manage them on the forum......in fact she bought some accs from dbk at the beginning, and it was her complaint about 'scamming' on those bought accs that actually was the last nail in dbks coffin and he got banned ...........

and having spoken to her personally on personal matters, I believe she is female....

it seemed to be a systematic attack but the new verification measures in place indicate those type of antics are over.

I gave sandy the benefit of the doubt when things began going awry, as I was a customer of hers too, but the fact is nobody knows wtf happened to put someone to that point. Planned or not its unacceptable and never happening again.

Threads like arn't started because people miss the person in question, or because they have legendary status.

They are started and continued because people love to gossip, love the drama and want to know who lost what and when.

She obviously polorised opinions. The 'old guard' seem to remember her for what she was, not what she became. And thats fair enough.

Even though i'm not a old member of the forums I agree. It's not hard to scam people. I have seen it happen before on other forums where high ranking/popular members have scammed.

Nothing about what she did was clever or special. Just pathetic. Most people(not everyone) have a price no matter how trust worthy. I have seen that over the years.

I doubt this was her plan from the start.
If Im not mistaken her big drama unfolded around the same time that the '0/0' limit accounts made their first appearance. Im thinking she just couldn't be bothered with figuring things out around those and decided to get out of the account selling business at that point - with a big bang at everybody elses expense.

She was fine up until they fixed a loophole.

She had reserved a bunch of orders from members and couldn't deliver.

She, by that time, had quite a few K stashed and decided to bail.

I guess her 'severance' for her years of 'service' :violin:

I stopped buying after 5/10 of my accounts got MC999 2 years ago. And then found out I could make accounts myself for nothing compared to what I was paying.

So I am not sure what loophole they fixed that she exploited but I never really cared for what I got when I got it anyway (imo).

I mean I have ordered several batches from her, and we're talking one batch of 10 users was ~$700. So you can only imagine how many people she had contacts with.

When you consider the whole Mt. Gox fiasco, everyone getting taken down by the feds and the key players actual involvement in BTC PERIOD, you realize how much is going to go "missing" here soon.

Hopefully you know what BTC is before you start bashing it.

I do not want to get too distracted from the OP but having BTC is not illegal.. Many of the the "Big Players" have BTC in perfectly legal manors.

Now sure many people are going to come along and scam.. this will happen with real money, money via moneygram, money via PayPal, and money via BTC. BTC just is popular is there is really nothing that can be done.

But the principle behind virtual currency is very awesome. In many cases, it is cheaper for me to send payments to other people using it then like WU/MG or even PP...

I hold BTC, I am well aware of what it is and isnt. I was merely reiterating news on big key players in BTC. Theres a lot to the story than being some fantastic virtual currency.
