how long can you leave email login?

what is max time you can leave login to emails before you lose them or they are locked?

I know gmail is fairly unlimited, hotmail I think is a year, any others? I have pretty much all of them....inbox.com is fairly short one..........

any tips on how to keep active without logging in.....

Not really "lock" but you can be prompted for a security phone or such. I don't bother changing IPs when checking gmail...never had problems as long as I know the pw

Once it's set up, it's a great system.

I do not agree.

gmail might block accounts when too many new gmail emails get made in a given time frame. Think that really does need to be pointed out and not glossed over.

There was a thread a few days back...
