DHL Shipping

Recently I started to buy electronics from China which the value of each item is £100 but the seller declare it as $20 (£13) when shipping via DHL, I buy 2-3 items at a time and each is packaged separately but the fourth time, custom has opened the plastic document pocket on the front of the package to check the paperwork however it was released from custom with no problems and I have received the packages.

If I continue to buy the electronics, will I be safe if it goes through customs again?

Wow Casterina, you buy electronics from China!, have you been then selling them online?, definately taking a risk there, have you been selling them for quite some time as well, the risks to people buying them from you if they turn out to be counterfeit and so putting your account at risk as well. Anything that uses mains power so needs plugging in that has been purchased from China aka counterfeit central, is potentially the road to ruin!

You need to make sure that the true value of the item is declared or you may well run into issue later down the line.

Are these electronics branded? Another worthy question to consider

I know nothing about UK customs, other than the fact that they can open your packages and if they dont like whats inside, you arent getting it. If the customs slip says there are 3 stuffed animals and you have 3 Samsung DVD players....you are in trouble.
