| oompaloompa | 07-30-2013 03:09 AM | I could not eat most of the take out food you mention, I will not eat the smelly orange cheese they put on it and the greasy batter/breadcrumbs, or the cheap meats/chicken they use. I would never ever eat a hot-dog. I like tacos with guacamole (fresh). calamari and most fish dishes.
I like a well made pizza only with mozzarella, a good Indian/thai/chinese. well-made pasta dish.
I like spicy bean/falafel burger, with lots of salad and onion.
do not like donuts, too oily taste, love most cakes though, we have great choice here. |
Tim Hortons up here isnt so bad - not my preferred place but tolerable |
| Sandy D | 08-05-2013 07:44 PM | Wonder how many of you dislike Chinese take out food?
We used to love it and still do but you really have to look at the health depts online reports, reviews etc anymore.
So many are getting busted for health violations.
If you stick to the better places with the high end names they get high scores on health dept reports.
Panda Bear

Nothing wrong with that.

I think we feed the world. Or at least used to.
Our farmlands have produced some of the best crops around the world in the past and some still do. |
| bigboddie | 08-10-2013 12:52 AM | Latest fix Taco John's Adobo tots that come with the six pack and pound combo. |

| bigboddie | 08-10-2013 10:20 PM | 1 Attachment(s) Slightly off topic but chips ahoy just released brownie filled chocolate chip cookies! I'm gonna have to triple my workout because they taste so good, so bad for me but they taste so good! |
Was forced on a drive recently to stop by McD's...had not eaten there in years...tried Junior Chicken from the snack menu and McDouble I think - sigh...they were good on the tastebuds |
| Sandy D | 08-21-2013 08:00 AM | Heading off to pick up some antique auction buys from last nights auction and will hit a Panda Bear Express for lunch.

| jeffweico | 08-21-2013 10:08 PM | Oh My God!!!
Krispy Kreme just came out with STRAWBERRY CREAM MINI DONUTS!
I'm in heaven. And if I keep eating them like this I WILL REALLY be in heaven. Or, maybe that other place, the one with no air conditioning...
The main ingredient in Krispy Kreme Donuts is SUGAR. Next comes Vegetable Shortening. Flour is third on the list.
That is why they taste so good! It is PURE SUGAR AND FAT, with just enough flour added to hold it together. No nutritional value whatsoever. THE PERFECT FOOD! |
| Sandy D | 08-21-2013 11:49 PM | Crap. Drove by one today and the line was too long.
Now I will have to go get a dozen or two or three.
Thanks Jeff, I will now have to get back on the treadmill. :nono: |
