Re: What linux OS for stealth VM?
I hate chrome, it's so useless. And I'm not a huge fan of Linux because something as simple as installing a program is a long drawn-out process in Linux.
I use the same XP .iso file every time I create a new VM. Many forum members will clone their first XP VM (before doing any stealth configuration), which makes things even easier. The version of XP I use is stripped down to just the essentials. I think the ISO is like 550mb. Once I install XP, I disable graphical settings and remove any components I don't need to make it even more lightweight.
I create all of my VM's with 1gb RAM and 10gb HDD, and I never run more than 2 at the same time. 1gb RAM is a lot for XP, so my VM's run seamlessly. In fact, they could easily run with 512mb RAM.
