If you are so into "looks", go get yourself one of those Mac laptops. | I'm not really into looks. That laptop looks plastic. I need something high quality overall. MAC lacks spec, so No |

They are made from metal and tougher than a tank. I had 2 of those before my current business laptop but the graphics are usually pretty weak for my own personally needs, your mileage will vary.
Or why you on a ebay forums asking for laptop advice when you should go search for a laptop forums. Notebook review forums is the place to ask. |

Laptop is preference so it doesnt matter where you ask.
I wanted to know what you guys use, was hoping for a more statisfy answer to beat the Dell xps but looks like I am getting a Dell XPS as soon as the seller lists my desire specs.
Why do you need good graphics for a business laptop? Do you game on it? |

| IGNAS | 02-24-2016 03:04 PM | Re: Who has the Dell XPS 13 or 15? I'm pretty happy with my Dell Inspiron 17' with touchscreen.
Had no problems whatsoever (for 2 years).
And practically all HDD are bound to some day just fail in one way or another.
If you want super-speed, shock-proof and reliable data storage -- think of SSDs. ;) |

Just got my macbook pro with retina display, and I love it! Once you go mac, you won't go back. Sorry pc dudes! |

More support for applications that actually make life productive. |

Why do you need good graphics for a business laptop? Do you game on it? | I need a good graphics card because my gaming laptop weights 14lb with the 330 watt power supply\and I am not going to carry this monster around.
I do play games on the business laptop when I travel or when I am done with working on ebay stuff |

Bought the xps 13, waiting for it to come. Can't wait any longer for my desire spec. I got god projects to do. |

They're quite amazing and really well built. | Have inspiron here, the only thing i hate is the cheap build design and overpriced as hell |

Haha. I love Macbooks. But after using my old one for 3 years the back light went out on the LCD. So rather than hooking up a monitor I just started using my Toshiba laptop again. Just didn't make sense to me to hook a laptop up to an external monitor, essentially making it a desktop.
You want a good deal on a 2011-era macbook with no backlight? 4G RAM, 500G HDD. |

I tried a Mac before, it is so hard to use | No they're really quite useful. When I got mine it took a few months to get used to but in no time I was just as fluent in OSX and I am in Windows. I paid like $400 extra to upgrade to 4gb RAM at the time so it was state of the art. I was into web development/design back then and I think Macs run Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and other graphically intensive programs way smoother than a PC. Anything I needed a PC for would be done via VMWare fusion + a Win XP VM.
I promise you if you had a state of the art macbook pro you'd be happy with it. I'm assuming they can probably squeeze 64gb RAM in there now, and macs use RAM more efficiently than PCs. You could run 50 stealth account (VMs) simultaneously with one of those bad boys. |

But I just got my Dell xps 13 today. Not so impressive actually and quite boring. Not to mention that it has some graphics problems. I think it might be win 10 so trying to downgrade to win 7 but having some problems installing the iso. |
| phaz0rz | 03-06-2016 08:18 AM | Re: Who has the Dell XPS 13 or 15? OMG I HATE Windows 10. Microsoft needs to just make a separate OS for their touch screen devices. Trying to turn a traditional desktop into a touch screen device renders it just about useless :(
Good luck downgrading. It's really tough to downgrade from Win 10 to Win 7 because of driver incompatibility, from what I've noticed. |

I tried to even upgrade it to windows 10 enterprise and couldnt. Then I decided to fresh recover and delete everything and I broke it. Now sending it to the dell warehouse to get it repair. I broke the hard drive lol.
Win 10 is trash. IDK what they are thinking. Why in the world would I touch the screen when I have a mouse. |
