Re: RIP Belgium!
My grand parents (one Czech, one Polish) came to England during the second world war, and from what I know they were too proud to accept hand outs, they worked hard, and suffered a lot in their lives.
My nationality is so mixed, from places all over Europe, and further back who knows where my roots lay. But I'm proud to say I've never been unemployed, and I work hard (you have to when you are self employed!) and I believe myself to be a kind person. (Though my sarcasm may let me down occasionally)
And I have known far too many people, who call themselves English or British, that take advantage of the system, smoke pot and play video games all day, while claiming unemployment benefits, and feigning illness in the ways their parents taught them to increase that hand out.
Do not tar everyone with the same brush. Religion no matter what form it takes is just a label for an individuals hateful actions. Even Christians and Atheists are capable of hurting people in violent destructive ways.
