Default Euro 2016

So now the group stages are done, what does everyone think so far?

I personally always loved the euros because you got 16 quality teams. It was always the best trams trying to win against one another. Euro 2008 was the highest quality of tournament football I've ever seen.

This 24 team format has killed the group stages for me. No ones trying to win, too many weak teams have made it.

Any thoughts from any football followers?

Yes, apparently we a 'young', team now so to much can't be expected from them!, even Wales seems to have done better than us and at least didn't just get a draw GB.

Ingerland has poor management still. HTF can an owl manage a football team.

He should be pensioned off and retired once and for all.

I would suggest that England's opponents killed the games. All 3 teams sat back and defended with no intention of attackong. I expect the same from Iceland.

A few teams have impressed, most have not though.

GB, if we lose to Iceland, he will be a goner for sure.

Exactly GB, young team, old manager, on the road to nowhere, and agree if we lost to Iceland!, complete road to nowhere.

Wales FTW. Unlikely but I can hope!

Then when it's all over I can go back to not caring about football again and watch rugby (a proper sport!)

49'ers who on earth are they......got to be an American thing!......pharoz really!, you thought we were in some sort of currency discussion, on another note the news has just come on the tv and they are rambling on about the eu vote thing, more interesting was a comment about an increase in the amount of dogs been stolen, have to keep more of an eye on our Rosie!

True but from what the commentators were saying (and I might be wrong) but Italy didn't dress all their core lineup or something about their placement being not-their-usual.

My team has been Germany - ever since I would watch World Cup with the family back in the day. I haven't looked at the roster though this Euro Cup.

Forza azzurri!

Great result for Italy. Shame its Germany next. Although i believe Germany have never beaten Italy in a competetive game!

It should be interesting....
