I don't want to take votes away from anybody yet, I think. BUT, I do think that if you are over 70 you should take driving tests every 2 years or so, just to keep the streets safe.
Social media is pure fire tho, some pretty hilarious stuff. People acting like sports fans, next we'll see flag burning.

Again, I just generally hate how old people make decisions and then young people need to survive their decisions somehow. I just find it absurd how 50-70 year old person can have a say in a new world that they will never be part of. | You need to also take into account that those 50-70 years were the ones who witnessed us going into the EU, who experienced what it was like to be in the EU, and may have now been the one's who chose to leave the EU, because they saw no benefit.
I value their say more than 19-30 year olds who would have lived their entire lives being in the EU, not knowing the difference. Oh and not to mention how this age bracket have been scare mongered by all these pro EU videos on social platforms!

This sounds like the US. Half the country wants one thing and half the country wants something else altogether.
I really dislike these political type threads on this forum. I learn to discredit people in general based on ludacris opinions of others rights. Just because someone does not want the same thing as you does not mean they are retarded. The idea that 18-30 year old should make worldly decisions exclusively is insane. There is a reason most countries have a legal drinking age and driving age etc....Time and experience is a great educator.

I agree with the age thing 100% and I'd be the last person to take away votes from people just because of their age. I've almost always had good experience with older people and in all honesty, I think I've always enjoyed spending time with older people because I can learn from them and they have experienced things that I haven't.
I guess it can go both ways: If you spend a lifetime in politics you might learn a lot and become a great leader and a very educated person in the subject matter OR you can become corrupt and ignorant.
I'm just sayin that I don't like small group of individual making decisions that will affect a big percentage of population, especially when it comes to some of the politicians here in the UK.
I know campaign promises are almost as meaningless as my plans that I make when I'm drunk and its 2AM, but still... Its pretty bad when they back-pedal from their promises right after they've made it.
I seriously don't know why I get hot and bothered about some of the things that are happening in the world, because I'm not politicially active person at all- I don't trust the system that we have in place, so its hard to force myself to take interest.
And no, please don't get me wrong: I'm not calling anyone a retarded here because I don't know anybody personally. I don't know who voted how and why they did it.
BUT, I do think that people who vote for Trump with belief that Trump will make America great again are retarded- Surely if you think that the whole wall idea is great, you are being racist and a bit retarded? No?
Play, funny enough you mentioned the previous generation remembering the time before EU: Both my parents voted "leave" and they said the same thing: "Oh we remember the time before EU, it was much better"
I think the world was much more simple back then, I think the world had not borrowed itself broke back then and I have a feeling many people who remember the pre-EU days voted "Leave" out of nostalgia.
I understand now why politics are not allowed in this forum- Its a ****show and unfortunate misunderstandings happen. Everybody just reads and writes text and context and emotion gets lost.
99% of the things I say are just brain farts, I totally agree- Its internet and non of us are experts. Just chattin sht, thats all.

I agree with most of the post here that i did not like how this referendum went down at all with all the doomsday predictions. I minght not live in the E.U. but right now the EU is a complete and utter mess where they are taking from the richer Countries to sustain the smaller economies with little or no thanks at all and thanks to their immigration hot mess in Germany. ISIS terrorist are all over Europe in addition to the amount of women and children raped going up at an alarming rate. If the EU had remained a trading block the agreement would have been very good for all the neighbouring countries but trying to create a super state out of pure greed is anything but beneficial to the countries involved.

Most popular thing lately - "lets quit some alliance, will be much better, and don't know why, friend told me it's cool". And that is decided by people, who do not know anything about how the economics work at all. Let's spend billions of pounds for the separation, have increased cost of labor and transport, harder customs and so... but be separated! Separated from something most of the people don't even know about.

Democracy is when people elect some "smart" guys to do important decisions for them, as these guys understand what is going on. But if people think they can decide such important things themselves based only on their personal opinions but not real facts and understanding of political mechanics - who needs the government at all! Listen... We are apes who are flying in space using a piece of rock as a vehicle. We still have an old lady who waves to people and has its face stamped on pieces of paper and metal that we give other people in order to get more food and bigger telly.
Its all a big ****up, thats all.
