Widely Used & Trusted Alternate Payment Processors for Services/Intangible Goods?

Given recent events, while I'm actively taking steps to be able to accept PayPal payments again, I'm looking at branching out and setting up as many payment processors as possible that allow the sale of services/intangible goods.

Basically I want a provider who can promptly transfer funds to my bank/cc, in addition to being well known enough to be trusted by the customers to enter their CC info etc.

I've got the likes of Skrill, perhaps Neteller, and if I'm desperate 2Checkout.com though their fees are high for services based seller. Which others am I missing, if any?

You've mentioned most, but have a look here - https://www.shopify.co.uk/payment-ga...united-kingdom

There's pretty much 90% of payment gateways in the UK listed right there for you.

You will still come to find most of your buyers will opt in to purchase via PayPal because of its ease of use and biased buyer protection. But spreading your eggs into different baskets it definitely a step forward in the right direction to prevent your business from hitting a standstill.

P.S. Braintree is owned by PP.

Great resource, thanks for that. Applied for several.

To be honest if you read around Skrill is as bad as Paypal. 2Checkout has also a history of freezing funds and wasting people's time. Neteller I found is quite good and is willing to work with you to find a resolution. Stripe is another one you should consider, it's the trendy processor now. I however am having problems starting to accept funds (they don't send them to my bank account and I don't know what's wrong, sent them an email).

Braintee is owned by PP so I would stay away from it.

Authorize.net is good but expensive and you might get denied from them. Also there's PayMill, Klarna, Clearhouse, WorldPay, and Mondido. I've got rejected from all of them without any reason except Mondido, whose support is actualy very nice but they require you to be registered as a company.

Oh, and finally, Bitcoins. God bless Bitcoins. Easy to use, no chargebacks, no issues at all. People can buy them with a CC at Coinbase.com and then pay you to your BTC wallet.

CCNow still works but 5% fee

Stripe, Authorize.Net, Bitcoin (bitpay, coinbase), and new ones popping up everyday.

You can't beat bitcoin though and I'm seeing more and more people willing to pay by Bitcoin so don't pass it up.

Can anyone shed any light on how lenient/accepting Payoneer.com are of service based sellers from the outset, with decent volume (mid to high £X,XXX per month)?

Payoneer don't like mismatched names when it comes to bank deposits. So if it's stealth, you'll run into a little difficulty.

Cheers for the response. It's not for stealth on this occassion, but out of interest- can you not just use the virtual US bank they give you and withdraw straight to the prepaid mastercard they send you? Or do they eventually force you to add a bank account...?
