Re: Widely Used & Trusted Alternate Payment Processors for Services/Intangible Goods?
To be honest if you read around Skrill is as bad as Paypal. 2Checkout has also a history of freezing funds and wasting people's time. Neteller I found is quite good and is willing to work with you to find a resolution. Stripe is another one you should consider, it's the trendy processor now. I however am having problems starting to accept funds (they don't send them to my bank account and I don't know what's wrong, sent them an email).
Braintee is owned by PP so I would stay away from it.
Authorize.net is good but expensive and you might get denied from them. Also there's PayMill, Klarna, Clearhouse, WorldPay, and Mondido. I've got rejected from all of them without any reason except Mondido, whose support is actualy very nice but they require you to be registered as a company.
Oh, and finally, Bitcoins. God bless Bitcoins. Easy to use, no chargebacks, no issues at all. People can buy them with a CC at Coinbase.com and then pay you to your BTC wallet.
